I Don't see Garde happening TBH - I think the assistant thing is a red herring, I think he is stalling hoping for another club or just raise his profile.....

I can't beleive they just want a french geezer - even our board wouldn't be that daft. I think Garde hasn't got a favourable reception in the British media - and our board are maybe having second thoughts - I wouldn't rule out Nigel Pearson, I really wouldn't...

Betfair have Remi at 1.03 and Christophe Galtier at 42.00, the bookies odds have shut down for the night!

If that is the case I wish I had taken the evens on offer this afternoon for Remi!

Canal Plus have announced it. Reginald Ray as his assistant. I've no idea if that is instead of or as well as the Lyon boys.

Anyway who is this Reginald Ray, just done a search and got:

It's a worry we're not getting his preferred staff

Apparently Canal + said that Ray will be just one of a number of assistants, so the others may still be coming in. Lyon have a CL game on Wednesday so perhaps the others do t want to walk out until after that. Or even after the weekend as we then have an international break.
