I'm pretty certain Fox started yesterday. I don't think we will get a big razmatazz introduction. Who's going to introduce him? Haha! Nobody speaks. Lerner sure as hell isn't going to face the cameras. It will be low key, possibly a wooly interview at some point on the OS. They will avoid ANY questions re a takeover or the future in general. It's not the Lerner way.

We've had 3 CEO's in RL time and none of them have had a big intro. This will be no different.

I agree with you. I think with many fans it's case of wishful thinking that the new CEO is linked to new owners which is why there is an air of excitement. But In reality a new CEO is far from excitingin most cases. I have to admit until the infamous Faulker came on the scene I have no real idea who our CEO has been in the past and I have never really cared. Was Doug a CEO?

I wonder how many fans of other clubs know who their CEO is.

Doug was chairman in title, but a lot more too. We had Mark Ansell as a CEO for a while and he had Steve Stride who was a big help too. Our other CEO's were Michael Cunnah and Richard Fitzgerald, the latter now doing something at Man City, I think?! He fell out with MON and was quickly gone. Can't remember why Cunnah left? Anyone remember?

I remember reading interviews with Richard Fitzgerald and instantly getting excited by what we might achieve. One of many "what if" moments that seem to have popped up during my lifetime! Argh, the Villa...
