In his interview after the game, Lambert gave me the impression he was praising the club to our new owners. Sounded like we have somebody else coming in pretty soon....thoughts PDC?

Well being sat 2nd in the league and unbeaten so far will certainly look better to any prospective owners, or the new owner if we are in the latter stages of changing ownership,

ahh right, maybe it is. ive heard him say its a massive club etc a few times recently (unless i keep rereading the same interviews haha) so maybe there is something in it. maybe its the way he says things. time will tell
wouldnt it be amazing if we was taken over soon tho?

Lambert mentioned momentum on and off the pitch. It was odd he mentioned off the pitch. Would really love something to break now to stick 2 fingers up to the media who never gives us praise when we do well.

Have to agree, sounded like the usual Lambert sound bytes. To be fair to him, whatever your view, he has always bigged the club up, in terms of its size and potential and you can see he sees it as a big job. Great result, let's just enjoy that winning feeling, it's been a while. UTV Scarf Waving

Soundbites or just not giving anything away. Lambert has always done and achieved what was asked of him. This season is different simply because for the first time he has a premiership wage budget and so can bring in better players. I don't think this has anything to do with new owners, its just that after 3 years of massive cuts the club is now profitable and so more money is available. It would be nice if new owners are in place, or near, but I don't see it myself. I really hope I am wrong but I think it will be 2015 at the earliest. On a different note I thought Westwood was outstanding today and Baker was as good as he ever been. Funny as I thought he was a disaster waiting to happen, I suppose thats the reason why I spend 3/4 grand a year on football and he earns more than that a week playing the game.

I am in the 'positive a takeover is close' camp but I personally think the momentum off the pitch remark may have been about TF starting this week. He will have held a senior team meeting and possibly a full staff meeting to motivate the team with his vision.

I think the vision is related to a change in ownership however I don't think PL's remarks are directly eluding to that....just how I interpreted it :)
