At least Clattenburg had his cards to hand. Grealish really took the pressure off the defence when he came on. Can't wait to see him cut loose properly in attack.

Well if he goes to Chelsea he can expect to be playing regularly ....
for Vitesse Arnhem or similar club along with the other 26  Chelsea players out on loan!

Thanks for starting a new thread on this, gdav. Certainly worth discussing in isolation.

He and his family are mad villa fans and, I guess like the rest of us, he'd play for free. But he has to make money and if someone is offering a shitload more, then he could go.

However, "it's been reported...". I'd be asking where. If it's somewhere like The Mirror or the Daily Heil then file under B for Bollocks.

I've only seen it in the Daily Star, no quotes and no evidence so I'm taking it as pure bullshit.

I think I remember a few months back someone on twiter or another forum saying that his uncle said he was looking at his options as there was a lot of intrest from other clubs??

I have it on good authority a deal is there and just needs to be done and will be. Wants to play for villa and is villa through and through, as are his family and he apparently hates change anyway. This is from a close family member of his. I don't think we have any worries here.

If villa are smart they'll get him on at least a 5 year deal. This kid is going to be special, I've watched him for a few years now, he's the real deal.
