Re: Jack Grealish
I think Grealish should start. Has to start somewhere, a nothing game, an unknown quantity..why not?

Re: Jack Grealish
He posted on his twitter feed yesterday something like 'At last a blue tick' but it was deleted shorly afterwards - I took that to mean he had been told hewas starting

Hmmm... Could be that indeed. Be interesting to see the lad get a proper run out!

No, it was because his twitter was verified with the blue tick...

We all know he should start, but he won't. More chance of Grant Holt starting the game playing wide left.

Re: Jack Grealish
That is the very worrying truth behind Lambert, the whole fanbase can see how it should be done except him. Oh well he must do something to earn his £2mil+ a year but I'm buggered if I can see what it is. Give the kids a go in a complete nothing game, absolutely nothing to lose by starting them.thegaffer6 wrote:We all know he should start, but he won't. Re: Jack Grealish
I've started to expect that a bit like McLeish Lambert has an innate conservatism that comes to the fore of his decisions. Even if the costs of them are small enough to make the outcome irrelevant he'll err towards a conservative move.

Exactly my thoughts too, it's almost as he has been beaten into submission and just wants to avoid hammerings hence the negative tactics and team selections.Billy McBingo wrote:I've started to expect that a bit like McLeish Lambert has an innate conservatism that comes to the fore of his decisions. Hope we are not dragging our feet on his new contract. The vultures are circling and it would be an act of criminal negligence letting this kid go through the Door. I am more keen for this to get done than anything else...pull your frigging fingers out Villa!

Id prefer Vlaar and Delph to get a new contract first.

Jack Grealish
After watching Jack get kicked off the park - first six times times he touched the ball he was upended 4 times - and concurring with the MOTD2 analysis I feel perhaps an appeal should be started to buy Jack some big boy shin pads. I have searched and sourced some nice Sondico ones in Sports Direct and have found a somewhat sticky and fluff covered 50p under the sofa which I am prepared to donate to start the fund off.

Can we specify them faced with metal spikes so the next person to try to upend him really knows about it?

Re: Jack Grealish
Hull saw him as a threat from the minute he came on. Other teams will do the same to him. He is class.
He will learn to adapt his game to this sort of thing. Great young talent.

Any extra money left power from the collection should go toward some Ben10 stickers and a haircut.

I think he purposely moves them down either to protect his ankles or some sort of throwback to look cool.

But he had the perfect answer to them, just smile.
Mind you that Hull wanker, who slapped in on the head should have walked.

I blame Potato Head Bruce. Looked pretty obvious they were told to get stuck into him the second he stepped on the pitch.

Jack invites the tackles, he knows what he's doing.
