I don't think he's anywhere on loan, just fell out with Lambert. Just like all the others ...

Re: Jack Grealish
Grealish for manager!
I'm all for breaking him in gently and seeing what he can do in the Premier League with a few substitute appearances when we need something extra, a game like this one against Leicester is surely a good one to start? It's not that he's disposable (in the way that losing Okore, Clark, Hutton, Weimann, Gil or some of the others is going to hamper survival) but he gets the crowd going as well as looking damn good on the ball.

erm, no!
lots to do yet for before he gets another start....he can still go out on loan to championship side can't he?
not many takers are there? considering he's the new messi n' all!

Re: Jack Grealish
That type of comment is silly. No-one is saying he's the new Messi. I think most people are just fed up of Weimann, Agbonlahor, N'Zogbia etcViewFromT2 wrote:jeffvilla wrote:So we all agree lets start Grealish

The way some go on about on here and elsewhere....distinctly average is how I would describe Grealish....must have a good PR team around him, biggin' him up everywhere he goes!!
Compare him to the lad Ibe at Liverpool.....Grealish nowhere near that kid unfortunately.

Re: Jack Grealish
I'd go with he is overrated in some quarters. I think he's underrated in others though. I just don't think anyone thinks he's the answer to all of our problems, and I certainly don't understand people who are already writing off his entire career because he didn't tear Blackpool a new arsehole last month.
Personally I'd much prefer to see him out on loan, but then I'd also prefer better senior players ahead of him, and the Villa to be good again :)

Agree with this.
No way he should start on Sunday, we wanna get through surely?...has to be Gil starting, don't see how we can play both in the same side.

Re: Jack Grealish
Gil or Grealish? That's a no brainer. Grealish has a lot to learn but it's certainly time for him to be on the bench and getting ten minutes here and there.

Re: Jack Grealish
Might be a gamble but why not Gil off Benteke with Sinclair and Grealish wide. It would certainly make Leicester think as they won't have seen anything like that from us in the games so far

Good call. I want to see Grealish having someone to play with and he, Gil and Benteke could make a very effective group up front.
But then I still want Weimann up front with Benteke so what do I know?!

Weimann will be one of the players to watch under a new manager. Will the energetic headless chicken become a more focused, cultured player or will he be sold off to KFC?

I like to look at him as working his bollocks off for the team. I do hope he regains his form and gets to spend his energy carefully on being a striker and not shoved wide on the wing. Benteke needs someone to play with, I'm thinking along the lines of

Re: Jack Grealish
He's clearly low on confidence right now, hopefully Sherwood can help him in that aspect. The rest is up to Jack but I'm more confident now that if he works hard it will pay off for him. That's true of any other young player too, although the young lads aren't doing so great lately!
That said, I really hope Cowans Jnr makes it, he moves so much like his dad at times that it's uncanny!
