Had to click on it to make sure I was seeing it right. £147m????
There's ambition and then there's just being plain silly. Turns out it's £14.7m

You are certainly out of touch. Played well against Rotherham alongside Elphick
Cheers matey i only caught the Championship highlights in Brean sands on Saturday night didn't even mention the team line ups on Channel 5, cheers for the update mate i wondered why we kept a clean sheet ;p
The fact we kept clean sheet should have told you Richards wasn't playing !

What's the chances of Jedinak running into issues with a visa? Wary of this after the goalkeeper issue last season but surely as he's played both in this league and the Prem, it wouldn't be a problem???

Well I'd bloody hope not. Although we can never put it past them idiots at the Fa after what they done to us regarding Kalanic can we? Anyway hopefully it all gets done and the price is said to be 4m.
So according to the calculations...
Mccormack= 12m
Tshibola= 5m
Elphick= 3.5m
Gollini= 4.4m
Chester= 6m
Jedinak= 4m
= 34.9m pounds spent
I know some of that is the money from Gana and Clark but blimming heck that's good stuff isn't it? And I think there will be at least another 8-10 million spent tbh.

Surely he's already got a work permit? Work Permits are administered by the FA and not just the Premier League.
Regardless he's captain of Australia and plays regularly for them so would qualify for a new work permit if needed

Re: 2016 Summer Transfer Speculation
My understanding is that it's not linked to your employer, you either have a permit or you do not, if not you apply, since he is already employed he must have a valid permit, end of story.

At any rate, if there's an issue, Big Tone will bamboozle them with charm, flair and amusing tweets until they surrender.

Word is Jedinak has indeed passed his medical and now it's a matter of waiting for confirmation of him signing which I guess will be tomorrow.

Fantastic to hear, a real leader general we have been crying out for years, Tshibola and Jedinak will be rock solid and we will be adding a player experienced and way too good for the Championship and when we are up against it in games Jedinak will help the other players immensely LOVE IT UTV!

Re: 2016 Summer Transfer Speculation
Another midfielder has been linked with us today called Cheick N'Doye...
Would be very impressed if we get him. He was linked with a host of premier league teams last season and I'd compare his style to Yaya Toure. He's a massive unit he gets up and down the pitch and can be very dominant. He's also a captain too so he'd be another big presence in the dressing room to add to Elphick, Mccormack and Jedinak. HERE is a video of a few of his goals.
LinkASTON VILLA MAKE INITIAL CONTACTS FOR CHEICK NDOYE
Championship side Aston Villa have made initial contact for the possible transfer of Angers SCO captain Cheikh Ndoye, according to our colleagues at Foot 365.
The 30 year old wanted to move to England in January, but was persuaded to stay until the end of the season.
Ndoye also has historical Premier League interest from Stoke City and West Brom, and is likely to wait until the end of the transfer window before making his final decision.

Not keen on a lot of old players tbh. Jedinak is one dinosaur and that's enough

Re: 2016 Summer Transfer Speculation
Oh I agree, but I think adding more 32+ year olds is a mistake. If we're serious about Ndoye we could rather sign Aron Gunnarson that's three years younger, and a much better beard.

N'Doye just turned 30 which is still peak years for a midfielder really. And if the fee isn't much then why not? You can't beat experience and know-how in this game. We all saw how lost this team was without it last season.
If Jedinak has a spell on the sidelines then what? it's back to Westwood or Gardner!!..personally I think this signing would be even bigger than Jedinak if we pull it off tbh because this lad is the real deal. Got nine goals and four assists in ligue 1 last season. And he didn't just perform against the little sides, oh no he got two goals against Monaco and two goals against Lyon. I think he'd blow away the championship tbh.

Not really. You can have quality and still be naive which leads to mistakes. Whereas an experienced pro with lesser quality will know how to "manage a game" if you like. Ndoye has both experience and quality so it doesn't really matter either way .

No, I'm with Joppe on this one.
Whilst we're at it, let's sign W.C Grace, Santa Claus and Rasputin.
