Absolute stonewall penalty and Dean is looking right at it in the replay. Pathetic. Once again, we get robbed by the ref.
We still look like a team who doesn't know how to play together yet. Like last match, I don't know where the goals are going to come from. We need some kind of change.

Really need a striker & an experienced centre half to add to this team.

Ayew looks like he's going to be the duff signing, looks poor so far.
In fact that forward threesome all look poor, Gestede and Traore will displace two of them in the starting lineup soon.
Amavi and Gana look quality signings though.

Club needs to deliver a complaint about Mike Dean. Can't let this shit continue season after season. Fucking ridiculous refereering. So biased it's no point to even turn out.

We played the same 3 that were ineffective against Bournemouth I have to shake my head at that. If Gestede was not ready then at least give Kozak a go against Blind.

A defensive error cost us, poor in the final 3rd, little attacking threat, Gabby anonymous. Gana ran out of steam.

We ran out of gas by the 75th minute. The whole team looked knackered. The game was crying out for some kind of creativity. We need some players who can run at defenders or make some runs. Our front 3 was way too static the entire match. Need Adama, Grealish, and Gil for next match.

Just adds more strength to the argument that the top teams get the decisions in favour of them.
Might have come away with a point had he given the obvious. Man Ure aint all that. How much did they pay for Memphis?

Very true, but this happens when you fight on uneven terms for 75 minutes. We had a stonewall penalty denied. They did they same dirty defending all game long with obstructing our players runs. It took Mike Dean 83 minutes to give out yellow cards. You won't win matches when the referee does everything in his powers to fuck you over. I'm just surprised we didn't get a red card. Wouldn't hold it past him. And this shit is EVERY FUCKING SEASON. No wonder we never win this fixture. Fucking shambles. I'm so pissed off I might go and kill a kitten or something.

Re: Aston Villa v Manchester United .... Friday 14th August 7:45pm kick off.
I thought Sinclair looked much more dangerous than Gabby, poor decision to sub him if he wasn't injured. I have a feeling we're treading water up front until Grealish, Gil and Traore are ready to play. Amavi has taken to the PL like a duck to water, Gueye looks decent too and Veretout is getting there. I don't think Ayew and Gabby deserved to start and Gesetede should be leading the line with a mixture of Sinclair/Grealish on the left and Gil/Traore on the right. I thought Sanchez did an excellent job for us as a sub today.
One thing I noticed, how many free kicks, crosses and corners didn't go straight to their goalie?
And I really wasn't impressed with Ayew's dive and Veretout flouncing around. I fully expect Sherwood to tear strips off both of them.
I thought we did well and it took a corrupt referee to prevent us earning a well fought draw. Because really, Guzan had their goal covered had it not bounced off Clark.

Considering the amount of new players in the team...
considering the amount of players new to the premiership...
Considering we were playing Manure & not a newly promoted team...
I think we're looking okay actually.
