Only just watched the reply on tv (not getting up at 2am to watch the inevitable). I'll drain my coffee and adjust the site header to suit...and leave it like that until we win.

Re: Burnley Vs Villa
It was clear Cole was dead in his feet after his MOM performance. Swapping him for Grealish was like-for-like and Jack didn't let himself or his team down. At all. Whoever is blaming him for the loss is a massive moron.
The mistake was swapping the energetic threatening Weimann for Richardson. As limited as Weimann is, him being on the pitch kept Burnley pinned back and as soon as he went off, we conceded 25 yards. Dyhce knew it, his players knew it, our players knew it and once again it's all hands to the pump.
I don't know all that much about Callum Robinson but i think that unknown quantity would have kept Barnsley thinking about maybe not have seen us sat back waiting to have our pants pulled down.
As has been noted, when it was going against him, Dyche was on his feet trying things and encouraging his men. Lambert, when the tide was turning, ducked into his shell and watched us fuck it all up.

Re: Burnley Vs Villa
Agree that Grealish did well. Looked very good in the attacking centre.
I agree that we shouldn't have subbed Weimann and that was the mistake. Weimann got the assist on Cole's goal.
If we had Benteke we would have scored from crosses into the box and won that game easily.
Okore and Clark don't look too bad. Pity about the Okore mistake for the penalty but it happens and we should have scored more than one goal.
Glad Lambert is working well with Cole, can't wait for him to team up with Benteke on the same form.
Sanchez still hasn't got the pace of the Premier League yet.
Hutton playing great.

I basically flipped on the match right before Grealish came on, so I didn't see Joe Cole's performance in the 1st half, but I was very impressed with Jack's cameo. He almost won it for us right there at the death of it...

Some of our fan base will have you believe that Grealish cost us the win, but, whatever. I suspect his kind of performance is what we'll get from everyone once this manager jogs on.

They couldn't even be bothered to comment on it on MOTD, only showed the managers' and Cole's interviews and then moved on to the next match.

Just the usual wankers who turn out when we have 4000 tickets. Back to normal on Tuesday.
