Re: The Steve Bruce thread
DBH sorry to hear about your Mom, our thoughts are with you!
DK I think unless there is a good performance against Reading we could see a Wednesday sacking/resignation? I have grave doubt whether Bruce can turn this around in 3 days when he has had 9 months and failed? I never want us to lose or draw but a small part of me just wants this episode over and done with so I won't be too disappointed with a loss!

For those of us who think that Bruce sacked is when not if, what's your prediction of when?
So to start, my prediction is a loss against Reading and Bruce gone on Wednesday.
Any other opinions/predictions?
After the norwich game for me. I don't see us getting anything v Reading - so he has to beat Norwich.
Much as I would like a change it might pay us to hang on - and just wait until a decent manager unexpectedly becomes available - usually October/November time.
I think Alan Pardew would be a strong contender.....thats not an endorsement but could see the club going for him.

I think Pardew would be an improvement on Bruce and a better opition than Moyes?
Dean Smith is an interesting but unknown quantity!
Any foreign Johnny would have to have English experience!

He's only changed your comments in the embedded part of his post - your original post/comments remain unchanged.
Altering someone's comments this way and putting "fixed" is a very common response across all sorts of forums, and it's conventionally seen as tongue in cheek, often eliciting a counter "fixed" response from the original poster.
I appreciate not everyone is super social media savvy, but honestly JB, it's nothing sinister, and as I said, it can't alter your original post/comments.
You can always "fix" AT's "fixed" comments if you want

not missed point at all, I mentioned about my comments being changed and was answered. its all peoples opinions and mine is that I don't think people's comments should be altered whether in jest or not. just like my opinion is that I don't want a manager sacked after 2 games.

Re: The Steve Bruce thread
In his latest interview Bruce is basically saying he's brought in older players because there wasn't the money to sign younger ones, hardly inspires confidence in those he did sign, neither does saying that he doesn't know if we can mount a challenge.
On whether or not Xia will be patient, he points to the examples of Ferguson and Wenger, as if he's anything like those two. Bruce asking if Xia is patient man is basically him trying to make the club look bad if he gets the sack.
