So, how's this one going to pan out?
Aston Villa v Leicester City 16th Jan 2016 17:30
OK, here it is. There was a valid suggestion to leave it until two hours before KO to maintain continuity of superstition but let's walk on the wild side.
However, I will maintain the options, although I did think of putting in a "We play well but the spawny fuckers nick it" and may do going forwards if that's what happens this time!
Anyway, I'm going for my option from last time round. Total football, stylin' and profilin' all game, Glum Tinkerman at the end as he realises it's the beginning of the end of their title winning dream and it's the beginning of the AVFC march towards a Europa League spot.

I want to destroy them to make up for us blowing that 2 goal lead we had on them earlier on this season. Plus, their fans are incredibly delusional for thinking they're a "big club" now. Time to bring them back down to earth.

Amazing what a win will do.
I'm going for a hard-fought, well-deserved draw with Bunn being the hero.

We need to crush those enemies, see them driven before us and hear the lamentation of their women.

Realistically we will lose. They just look too good this season and have a great spirit about them. Best we can hope for is a draw.

Wonder if our new illustrious Chairman will be in attendance with a shit load of cash to give Garde ? Urm, i don't think that question really needs an answer.
At least he will be at the club every day to sort things out. Erm
I am talking bollocks and not even had a beer yet. FFS.

No, Sherwood did that to us. We were beating them and we can finish the job.

Here we go with a lineup guess, Leics are the best 4-4-2 in the league, we will need fullbacks that will be up to the onslaught, we need 4 MD with super engines, so although I love Gil he misses out as a luxury we cant afford this time out, i'm going for a 4-4-2 diamond with Veretout playing the Gil pos and i'm putting in Bacuna in JVs normal pos to add strength and cover for RB. Our LB should be covered well by Gana, nullify their wingers and Okore to be on Vardy like a rash everytime he comes near.
Bunn
Richards Okore Lescott Cissohko
Westwood
Bacuna Gana
Veretout
Kozak Ayew

Have to say I'd go with the same starting 11 that lined up against palace, they all earned a starting place for the Leicester game. It's tempting to start Richards at RB as he brings that bit more pace and physicality, and he is basically a proper RB. If Leicester are suspect against anything it's a bit of trickery against their CBs, Gil should find space at the point of a diamond and hopefully pick out Ayew or Kozak

I like the idea of keeping a winning team together but I fear a lightweight Gil will be on his arse to often against these boys and Mahrez will destroy Bacuna at RB........ either way Leics are getting stuffed

Meh it's Leicester. Even a relegated shit Villa side can win this. Anyone can win against Leicester. It's fucking Leicester.

I normally like sticking with the same team but I think bringing in Richards at RB and moving Bacuna in CM gives more attacking threat - Gana, Westwood & Veretout is all too samey.

We really need to build on the Palace result, if we can stay in the game then have options of Sinclair & Traore coming on.

Traore is out for eight weeks with a metatarsal fracture.

As much as I like Bacuna, Veretout and Gana have to start and Westwood works well down the middle, distributing the ball. Until we find someone better - and in that position I'm not sure Bacuna would be better - he does a good enough job. Just as long as Garde bans him from our 18-yard box and he doesn't have to defend.
I do agree about Richards. A back four of Richards, Okore, Lescott and Cissokho is the best we have.
