Starting 11 a bit of a surprise.......all i will say is that if the performance and result isn't positive today then Sherwood has set himself up for a fall with that line up! I'm trying to work out where Hutton and Crespo will play?!

No Clark/Traore at all, hope they are injured for Tim's sake!

Tim has still no idea what tactics or side he is going to play from week to week.

I really, really despair, perhaps Tim is going to bore Stoke and the supporters to death in the first half and then spring some sort of master plan in the second half?

Well that was very poor.

The Good

Richards apart from the goal chance.
Westwood was very tidy and assured today and I've been a critic of his.
Amavi wrecking Diouff.
Gil when he came on.
Crespos beard.

The Bad

Sinclair. No end product.
The referee. Gave us nothing.
Not making Butland work. Final ball was terrible.
Grealish workrate off the ball.

The Ugly

Westood corners but worst corner of the season contender from Gil.
Sherwoods tactics.
The league table.

That's it, in a nutshell. The common denominator with all things going wrong is Sherwood. There is plenty of talent in the squad if the right team is selected from the start and sent out with a decent plan. Neither is happening. Anyone who saw that starting line up knew it was another pig's ear from Sherwood.

I'm starting to wonder if he isn't actually mentally ill in some way, some undiagnosed mania or -pathy or -ism, or some such. It's the only explanation that seems to fit the evidence and his actions.
