Taking my 'mod' hat off for a second and just being me (yeah I'm allowed an opinion ha) I don't think ANYBODY on this forum or anywhere else (except a very small few) know the identity of the proposed bidders, so let's just bare that in mind. Suits IMO is offering an OPINION based on info he believes to be true (fair enough, like everyone else) it doesn't make it fact though, so let's just remember that.

Not knocking you suits, there's a lot of posts here and elsewhere that speak like a complete authority on the matter, when the reality is it's all speculation of some sort until something more official is known. I don't think anyone knows who or what the intentions are of the knew owners, it's all protected by NDA's so we need to be realistic about that. I think if we're expressing opinions we should make it clear that it's an opinion. Some posts/tweets come across like they have a direct like to BOA and Randy. Just my take.

This thread would be useless without specualtion, so keep that coming but also remember that's all it is.

Just to add a little more to who the new owners may be, I threw my hat in a few weeks ago that it could be Usmanov ( on the villa blog)
My reasoning behind this was with Lerners track record of signing managers how the hell did he pull Fox out of his ar*e which brings me to the next point why did Fox take the job knowing the club was to be sold ( as he said in his recent interview that no one was safe). The Fox appointment bugs me and I can only put it down to Fox was "introduced" to Lerner by whoever is taking over the club but that throws up more speculation because of Tom's past ie American, NBA Asia and of course Arsenal, now I go for Usmanov because that is the most recent contact for Tom.
Don't you just love wild speculation and that is why I read this blog so avidly
