AVTV only throws a white screen when you try to cast the whole screen. What a load of shit! Add that to the list,@De Kuip? :)
Missed the 2nd goal but it looks like we're playing a Div 4 side. Great to see us making it look easy.

Next goal could be an important one, Burton get it and it could make for an unnecessarily nervy game, if we get it, then we could go on to get five or more.

Looks like all the lads will be called up for a dope test, three goals in the first half! unheard of.

Elmohamady is the Egyptian Zabaleta (albeit if Zaba was signifcantly less good )

Just posted on the live match feed on the official site. Their half time round up said this would be the first back to back win since 2014 but I thought reading and Fulham were back to back last season. They posted my correction though!

Well done Bruce and the lads. I've given him plenty of stick, but this was good football. Not sure whether we were this good, or whether Burton were shite, but whatever.
Crisp passing. Passing hard and directly through pressure lines.
Great fullback link up with wingers.
Good finishing.
If I am to be critical of something, once again I think we fall too deep in our own zone. The pressure we put on the ball player is pretty shite.

Hippy Bathday, Saunders!
That was nice to (sporadically) watch. Missed goals 2 & 4 as my feed went but saw the replays. The last 15 was a bit of nothing but can't blame Bruce for throwing on the 2nd string to give the others a bit of an early mark.
As good as that was, can someone explain El-meh-hamady to me? Looks nothing like a footballer to me. Out of position and just hoofs it.
4-0 though! Fucking hell.

This kind of result should be the norm, not saying we should be beating teams by this scoreline every week. But that there's almost a sense of disbelief at today's score and against a team like Burton, is an indication as to how far we've fallen. when you compare our resources with the rest of the division, these kind of games should happen more often.

He has a decent engine, but that was something I failed to mention. I still don't see what he does better than Bree. I'd play Bree every day of the week.

Superb performance, and some much improved individual performances too, most notably Snodgrass. He'll be a real asset to us as he comes up to match fitness.
Whelan was better than on the weekend, but still a liability in my eyes. he gave the ball away twice in the first half with very poor passes straight to their player, one on the edge of the area, and a better team would have put us under pressure from them.

Re: Burton Vs Aston Villa match thread
I saw a couple of comments from burton fans in the EFL roundup section in the guardian today saying that Terry was a different class and how he ran things from the back. Thought they made some nice comments considering we tanked them and they also said thank Christ they only have to play us twice this season!
