There was someone on here earlier saying same the same shite. Why would a new Chairman be appointed just prior to a sale? That wanker isn't the vanguard of the new regime, he's a cocksucker parachuted in by Lerner - he stated Lerner had contacted him.
If a sale had been in progress that appointment would not have been made and what kind of retard buys a club at the end of a window and provides no transfer funds thus guaranteeing they had just bought a PL club that is going to be a Championship club. It's a bit like buying a house that needs underpinning for less than market value because of that and moving in and letting the fucking wall collapse anyway.
He did appoint a chairman with a pedigree for dealing with takeovers in fairness.
Hollis openly admits he has little knowledge of....and clearly even less interest in football....was he draughted in by Lerner to see a sale through without hitch this time....if so called previous deals had fallen through?
Just a thought....it's more likely than us signing a decent player tonight!

Monetary wise I totally agree, but from a boycott perspective a lot of power!
What would a half empty stadium portray to the world at large when shown on TV, Lerner would not be happy about that and what his mates think of him!

Maybe he did, fumed on the coach for a while and told the coach driver to pull into Newport Pagnell Services and leave him there. I'm sure he could get a taxi from there. Fuck, I'll go pick him up if he has told them to shove it and needs a lift.

The Man City owners don't seem to mind!
Our attendances have been floating around the low-mid 30,000s, meaning 1/4 of the ground is already empty

Re: Transfer window
I can't see that's it's just the league position that has put so many players off during this window. we know, the media and anyone with half an interest in football can see that the club is run in such a way that no one wants to be party to it. Which agent (even the most money driven ones) would advise a player to join our club ??
If it was an animal it would be taken out the back and shot. My biggest fear that relegation is only the start of our demise.
There are absolutely no positives coming out of our club. We have no Absolute right to be PL club. Lerner couldn't sell our club for what he paid for it.
Sad times I'm afraid UTV VTD

Re: Transfer window
No doubt even bigger storm clouds are gathering, they just seem to keep on coming with Lerner as owner. With no signings made and a probable defeat at West Ham tomorrow the atmosphere at the Norwich game is going to be toxic. I really hope there's as many white flags as possible on show, we're heading down without so much as a whimper. Being truly bent over and taking it like we love it. Embarrassing

Re: Transfer window
Fuck, Stevenage have just sacked Teddy Sheringham. Why couldn't they have done that this morning, we could have got on the phone, signed him up before noon and he could be playing tomorrow night.
Even now he'd be better than anything we'll be fielding up front at West Ham.

I'm still furious about this. If we get slaughtered tomorrow, I'm not going to bother watching the remainder of the season, because this is just too depressing for me to handle.

Re: Transfer window
Don't know why everybody is so upset?
We've got the prolific Gabby returning from injury so don't need a striker.
Ayew to partner him.
Jack and Gil to supply them.
Veretout and Gana to protect them^
Cissokho and Richards to provide the width and solid defence.
Okore and Lescott to control the middle
And Bunn to marshall them all.
What's to worry about? Cue nervous laughter ...

Tribal Football is even more unreliable than Twitter. It's pretty much a sure thing that whatever they have posted is completely made up.
