Lads its a fake document created off of the "Atom" Document/Text Editor, The guy has created a screenshot from a poorly filled out form from a very poor quality piece of software.

Its safe to say BOAML would not be using such software and would not be deluded or crazy enough to even allow a low level grunt to out such vital information when it effects there business as well as any takeover that is occurring.

File this morons tweet under good effort but better luck next time.

I have seen this software before its a cheap editor software, Even there website is cheap and of poor quality but you can download it from most crappy torrent sites. You can create stuff like this on Adobe software on a Mac but he has chosen a poor poor knocked up version seriously as Jamie Mentioned above "There is nothing to see here" Very Happy

Whether or not the document is real or faked, any such bid group would not have been given a period of exclusivity. Randy may have proved to be an inept football club owner, but he will not sell Villa to a leveraged buyout group.

His one remaining commitment to AVFC and Villa fans is to leave the club in safe hands. Selling to new owners who intend to use the clubs future income to service hedge fund debts would be a despicable end to his 9 years of ownership.

He simply would not do it.

i disagree - I think if the only offer is £150m with a degree of leverage - Randy would be tempted. We probably wouldn't found out about the leverage until a while down the line...

Agree VB, I don't think RL will do that, I suspect if he would, we'd have been sold last year. This is the one thing I have faith he will get right.

I agree that the document is most probably a fake but I don't agree that Lerner would be too choosy over who he sells to. Here is a man who is proven to be incompetent and doesn't care about the club anymore.

Frankly, IMO, just about anything is possible.

It's always possible, there's been more significant leaks in the history of time. This bit of 'news' doesn't have dates, price, what the context to the document was, nothing other than a sentance mentioning villa.

With regards to RL I just don't believe he will sell to any old chancer. As I said earlier we coukd of been sold a dozen times over if just taking the money and asking no questions was the remit. It isn't thank goodness.

This info is a load of old bollcoks that is either fabricated it was something minor like an intial expression of interest from some time ago. Nothing relevant to current events. With the lack of any info (which is normal due to NDA's) people are thirty for any old drop of news, so rumours, hearsay get scrutinised to death and they become facts!! Get used to it until it's all done and dusted or RL speaks and says a deal hasn't been concluded therefore we move on with a new chairman until a suitable buyer is found. Right now we're still in advanced talks to sell. I see nothing that convinces me otherwise. We're just not very good at waiting sadly!
