Really not convinced even for 10m but £15m was just ridiculous, however it gets people talking about us again and shows without question our intent!

He's 24 years old with a great goalscoring record. Reminds me a little of Kevin Phillips tbh. Best to get them early otherwise they make the step up to the prem like Charlie Austin and then end up costing much more.

Overall good business this window. There was a debate as to if we needed strikers or midfielders. I was in the strikers camp myself. But if all goes to plan we look to have 2 both.

The Ayew \ Taylor looked a bit odd at first - but I wonder if Taylor wasn't as important in the deal as the £5m - as this enabled us to up the hogan bid ?

Whatever - I have felt all season we have a better squad than our results suggest. Bruce is trying to reconstruct team (usually done in the summer) and with 0 bedding time.

hopefully they all hit the ground running - but if not at the very minimum wever got to come of the blocks looking next season

I don't think we were ever going to sign both Rhodes and Hogan. If we get an addtional striker to Hogan it will be someone who's prepared to sit on our bench and bide their time, maybe someone like Watkins or Bogle.

Also Westwood has passed his Burnley medical.

Who knows, maybe Audrey's agent is sorting his shit out and we'll have him available as backup to Kodjia and Hogan. It must be said now we have a full midfield and we won't need to play strikers out wide do we really need more than a couple of proven ones with someone like Audrey as backup?

Birmingham Mail reporting that we're trying to get Agbonlahor and Elphick off the wage bill today. Doesn't make sense considering we're short in their positions as it is.

I hope we won't come to regret not having a solid keeper at the end of the season. They don't seem to cost as much as outfield players but my McGrath they can affect points

I'm baffled kozak is still here. Hrsnlt good enough for us but he always does well in the reserves and you can't fault hs effort and dedication. Someone should have took a punt on him for free

I keep forgetting about Kozák. Think I read that Bruce has said that he's free to go though. We've still Davis as well, but a few clubs have been enquiring about taking him on loan.

I thought we'd have a few confirmed by now, maybe the club are waiting until they're all done so they can announce them all at the same time.
