Team who went two up at Leicester
.....................Guzan.................
...Bacuna...Richards..Lescott...Amavi....
..........Westwood..Sanchez.......
.....................Gil....................
........Sinclair............Grealish....
................Agbonlahor.................
When watching us pretty much run rings around them for an hour, it's utterly unbelievable how things have ended up isn't it? I remember in that first half especially their fans were silent as a mouse as we were tearing them apart with some lovely football and creating chance after chance. The key men that day imo were Gil and Grealish, while Amavi done a very good job on Mahrez who then moved inside and that's when the problems started after Sherwood's tactical cock-up.
All three of those key players I named above could possibly be with us still in the championship next season and if the takeover happens, we get some decent players around them, Add Adama into the mix aswell, then we just might be in for a treat next season.

Looking at that line-up, you just have to put it down to Tim firing them up in the first half and Leicester having a really bad 45 mins.
"Tactics" then made some awful changes that, to my mind, started the rot that we would not recover from.
But attitude is such a massive percentage of how a team ends up performing and, with the exception of a select few, the attitude of this team now sucks!

I liked Sherwood. Just a shame that he didn't know tactics from his elbow.

It will be interesting to see how Leicester will build on winning the league though.
While I think it's a huge win for football and two fingers two all those prawn eating cock sucking fake fans of the regular suspects, it's fucking mind boggling how Leicester could pull this off. Kinda feels like a dream you expect to be snapped out of.

Sherwood lost it during that match. He'd already shown he was tactically lacking, but his passion was driving us through. It was this game which killed his spirit, you could see it post-match. After this he didn't have the same energy.
Sherwood will only ever be a good impact manager IMO

Re: Team who went two up at Leicester
This was the match that killed both the team and the manager. I felt that the manner of the defeat, having been so dominant in the first half was soul-destroying. I think the players blamed the manager for this defeat, and there was not the same trust there afterwards. Sherwood himself seemed a bit broken in the post-match conference. He knew the mental effect of losing that match had on everyone.
The confidence that was there in previous games (even the defeats to Man Utd and Crystal Palace never came back. Anyone who saw the previous game against Sunderland (even though we only drew) would never had them finish above us.
But self doubt became our new thing after this defeat and it led to the slide and fall that came afterwards. It was the pivotal game in the season.

Re: Team who went two up at Leicester
Lot of rubbish talked about this game. We lost it because we couldn't clean sheets - a problem that plagued before and after this game. If we had hung on and won ? - it wouldn't have made any difference.
We hardly kepts any clean sheets in Sherwood later games of 2014/15 season - 6 conceded at southampton, 4 in the cup final. The warnings we there , Tom Fox sat on his hands - that was the issue - not the result of Leicester Away.

Re: Team who went two up at Leicester
I think the result came about due to Ranieri changing tactics for the better and Sherwood changing it to try and win a game that was already won. But I suspect it had a dramatic affect in the changing room and whatever angst was evident just exploded from that point.
From then it was all downhill.

Re: Team who went two up at Leicester
Before Leicester away we had 4 points from 4 games but, more importantly, hadn't played BADLY. We'd been doing well only to be let down by Sherwood's tactics (most notably in the Palace game). After this the team had to contend with Sherwood's tactics but without the energy of before and it leaked throughout the team and became the negative shite we witnessed from then onwards

All we can say is that it probably would have been for Leicester.
