Villa v Baggies (Tuesday night)
I said just 24 hours ago that now is no time for the youngsters. That Sherwood needs to pick his best players in their best positions and grind out a result.
Now I'm not so sure.
Can Grealish do worse than no-goals-no-assists-Cleverley? Can Robinson score less goals than zero? Can Gardner offer less protection to the defence than Westwood?
At least those lads will have something to prove and a reason to give everything they have. As much as it sounds conspiracy-theorist and half-mental, it looks for all money like half of our senior team realise that relegation will see them released into the wild and away from this dysfuntional club along with the prospect of a juicy multi-million pound sign on fee with some other club.
I don't know what the deal is with their loan contracts but if we can recall the players we need, we should. Fuck me, I'm so desperate to survive, I'd recall Housebrick Bent as at least he seems to be full of confidence and goals at the moment.
We're out of time for anything other than a Hail Mary now. The current players have proved time and again that they just cannot be relied upon to save us.
Roll the dice, Sherwood. Take a chance. Because we just have to beat these bastards!

Pulis will have them very well organised, so it will take a lot of luck for us to get three points the way we're playing now. The Baggies would love to hammer another nail in our coffin, so it's going to be tasty.

Villa are the equivalent of the latest season of The Walking Dead; week after week you tune in hoping that it's not the same old shit as last week and that some of the excitement will unexpectedly creep in if only for a few minutes.
But it's all just a bunch of brain dead zombies who are slow as fuck and so predictable.

That cheered me up and made me laugh!
Well I am going on Tuesday, for my first game of the season to offer my support, at least I won't bring bad luck as it can't be much worse than the situation we find ourselves in.
So I don't give a damn how we achieve it but lets get 3 points!
Lots of these (or at least one more than the baggies)!

Re: Villa v Baggies (Tuesday night)
Ok I have no reason to be positive. But our luck has to change sometime, why not on Tuesday night. We at least had more shots on goal with TS all we need to do is to put the bloody ball in the net.
In terms of the local derby it aint the baggies, it will always be the small heath scum.
Tuesday could be the start to kick off the come back. Ok finding a dark room and hoping against hope I am right. More fight more tackles more winning the second ball a we will be sound. Come on you Villa boys VTID

I have no positivity left, until the team gives me something to cheer, I think I am done, I have seen nothing much in the last 8 games to give me hope. I think I need some chemical assistance!!

For some strange reason I'm feeling positive about the two WBA games. If things go right they could both transform our season.

What I'd do if I were TS would be similar to what Mourinho does at Chelsea and create an "us against the world" siege mentality. Roll out every negative stat and article, ditch the "everyone is positive" bollocks and get them wanting to fight for evey 50/50 and 2nd ball

Re: Villa v Baggies (Tuesday night)
West Brom fans will be thinking there's no way that the new manager can lose three on the bounce. At least, that's how we'd all be thinking if the boot was on the other glove.
"Just our luck, they'll kick-start there season with a win against us!" is what we'd be saying.
So let's make it happen*
*no, not for one second did this raise my hopes.

Re: Villa v Baggies (Tuesday night)
i'm toying with the idea of going but am still not sure, part of me wants to take a look at what if anything TS is bringing to the table but then part of me sees the losses v Stoke & the barcodes and i think "why put myself through it??"... I get a bit stressed you see now after the few years we've all just had lol!
I am quietly livid with Lerner for what he's brought on the club using this ridiculous FFP thing as an excuse. (Whilst everyone else carries on spending lol!)
So do i torture my soul and watch us get another nil against the Tesco bags?
Still can't decide

It's going to be tough, they're going to be very well organised and sit back and hit us on the break. We'll need to score two at least because I can't see us keeping a clean sheet.

Me too, except I'll be flying back from my annual one-day trip to the Geneva motor show! Now I actually want to go to a match I can't get to one. Aiming for Swansea, I think.

No doubt it a ploy from Pulis, this player is out that player is out, and if by magic the almost dead striker/ midfielder/ defender has made a magical recovery.
Don't trust the baggies !!!!!!!

I'm going to both matches but I expect to witness two of the most miserable results in our entire history.
We're never going to forget this week. Oblivion of one form or another lie beyond.
Otherwise I'm quite chipper really. It's only football.
Dis I just say that?

Re: Villa v Baggies (Tuesday night)
I see Sherwood has called Albion 'a good little club' but is glad he's somewhere 'massive'.
Nice one for winding them up when we're fragile as fuck pal.
Maybe his plan is to get Craig Gardner so angry that he gets sent off in the first 30 seconds.
