Do your job Fox
Re: Tom Fox: CEO
Having just looked at it I agree with gdav - I think pat meant he personally is employed by the bbc when asked to comment on the CEO.

Re: Tom Fox: CEO
Graham taylor himself said on radio last season if and he said If he was given the the right role at club upstairs he would think hard about it but there would have to be certain points to it and being allowed to do the job now at time that would have been DOF so its a possibility thats for sure. As per with randolph its wait and see time

Would not put it pasted Randy to offer it to Robbie Savage new CEO,
he hates the Villa just as much, and works for the BBC.

Re: Tom Fox: CEO
Apologies guys. I urged caution as I wasn't sure on the context of Pat Murphy's reply to me. I took it to mean a BBC Employee (as did many others) where in fact, he was being an arse as I jokingly asked him to try and find out who the rumoured CEO was. Went on to say I don't take orders off anyone buy my employer etc! I'm not sure twitter is for him, very sensitive.
Anyway the hunt goes on. This is a red herring, apologies again.

Having been involved in the exchange with him on twitter I would have to say that he is the most arrogant and condescending individual I have come across on there.
Particularly liked it though when The Ego pointed out to him that he was technically employed by us as license payers!!!

Re: Tom Fox: CEO
Doesn't matter who our CEO is. As long as the despicable Lerner is in charge we'll be run on a shoestring while struggling to cling onto our Premier League status.

A reliable source has told me it's Tom Fox from Arsenal. Don't shoot the messenger, just passing on what I've heard.

Reading the reports Tom Fox does not fill me with joy, looks like he is another money man and not a football man, another yes man to Lerner, looks like we are in for a load more bull shit.

Lets give him a chance, he hasn't even joined us yet. Lets stick to the standard rule give him a couple of days then we can criticise him. Together

Re: Tom Fox: CEO
He may be a money man but he knows how to make money for a football club. If he brings in a sporting director to sit between him and our manager then it could work well Imo.Green Villan wrote:Reading the reports Tom Fox does not fill me with joy, looks like he is another money man and not a football man, another yes man to Lerner, looks like we are in for a load more bull shit.

Well I don't like what I am reading, he seems like he's all about money, only thing the reports acknowledge are this mega money deal with Puma for kits, I can't find anything football related that he's done in his career, his title isn't even CEO it's Commercial officer.
Lerner please jump off a cliff!

Do you really think Lerner would allow this? If you do I'd like some of what you're smoking
