If Chelsea throw numbers forward like they are, they're very prone to a counter attack. We need to make the most of the couple of chances well get though.

at least we've responded more resiliently to going behind than we did vs Arsenal. I was worried it'd be 4 or 5 by halftime when we conceded so early.

Yep, into blind alleys or into Chelsea players. The only possible purpose Zog has is a free kick on the edge of the box.

Chelsea will win this league in a canter. Given that, we defended ok and in parts passed the ball around with speed and purpose. We lacked any guile and bite in the last third of the pitch (and the less said about the opportunities we blew from dead ball positions, the better) but this side are a light year beyond last year's team. And we've still got Benteke to come and Grealish to mature.

But we need inspiring substitutions rather than dull, ineffective ones.
