I dont think it will.

I think a deal has probably been agreed on or close to it but has had to wait for Arison to raise the capitol, hence why he has been selling shares lately. It would explain why Lambert has stopped around, since he knows he will have proper money to spend in January and what we are seeing now is just getting us through till then with has little damage as possible.

The thing we should remember here, Arison has never denied any interest in us.

I remember all the way back after his meeting at that NY restaurant - Lambert came out and said "Even if we got off to a flyer in the first 7 or 8 games, he wouldn't change his mind" referring to Lerner staying. Strange thing to say for someone who knew/knows little about the process of takeover. Makes me wonder whether this trip was all part of a bigger picture and Lerner knows when we will be sold. Quite why I don't know.

But then its just as likely Lerner has screwed up this sale business and we know fook all. I have no faith in the man I am afraid.

While I really hope we are sold soon I just can't believe we would delay the sale to incorporate the tour. That would just be negligent from Lerner and the new owner. It could be used to put us in the shop window but I really can't see any sort of announcement forthcoming. It just doesn't make business sense.

By my calculation, its a 1am kickoff for UK-ers as it's CDT not CST? I imagine I'll be up so will likely give it a look - http://www.houstondynamo.com/live is the link provided in a Tweet by HD themselves, I assume there will be some kind of video player embedded in the page when it comes time? Or does it require subscription?

Edit: match details on the HD page say CDT, but Houston is in CST zone? If so, that makes it 2am not 1am.

I'll join you but even if I spot someone I won't know who it is. The only chance is if they show some old man in a Villa shirt on the big screen with the words " new owner" flashing up, or maybe we could get the stadium announcer to say "could the new billionaire owner of Aston Villa make his way to the hot-dog stand as villa fans would like to buy him a weaner".
