I was going to write here that we could do Adomah - Jedi - Tshibola - Grealish with Ayew and Kodjia up top. Then take Ayew off for Gestede when we are drawing or losing, and replace Grealish for Amavi with crosses.

However, considering we've bought McCormack, Kodjia, Adomah, while kept Grealish, Ayew and Gestede - is it likely that we will play anything but 4231? I just can't see so many quality players in this league coming to us without being guaranteed fooball.

It's probably gonna be 4231 with Adomah - McCormack - Ayew behind Kodjia with Grealish and Gestede benched.

Mccormack kind of puts a spanner in the works doesn't he? If RDM sticks with 433 or 4231 then does he play Mac upfront and Ayew/Kodjia either side of him? Does he play Mac in the "number ten" role? Personally I'd stay with the same team from Tuesday tbh and then bring Mac on if we need a goal.

I agree. Central midfield needs a big investment in January if we really want to push on. An attacking midfielder is one area we are sorely lacking as well.

As someone who only has text commentary available and stats, I really cannot fathom what is going on without seeing it.

I've defended RDM but owe him nothing and am beyond worrying about whether it's the right time to act or not.

Yeah I've tried to see the bigger picture and all but this is starting to look absolutely shocking now. I certainly can't complain if the end is nigh for RDM. You can't win one in eleven after spending nearly 60m, you just can't. The strikers look crap, the midfield can't create or score to save their lives, the keeper has made error after error and the defence is a shambles with Elphick leading it.

The Gods simply aren't with this club anymore lads. It doesn't matter what we try, new owner, new ceo, new manager, new players!!..still the same old CRAP.

The best we can hope for is bringing in a manager who can nick a few wins until we reach January and then we have to rethink the plan. Because right now it's looking like we've thrown a lot of money down the f#cking toilet.
