In the short term is there a fix for midfield (aside from perhaps trying Jedi and Tish together)? Can we recall Sanchez or even Veretout? From last season I wanted to see Okore, Gueye, Veretout and Ayew as the spine of the team. Sanchez would be ideal at 60 or 70 minutes to shore up our midfield. I assume though we didn't want them, happy as we were with the four central midfielders we have, and we won't be able to recall them before January?

What are they doing, even with no manager and no coaching these lot should win this game........... we can't even fluke a goal or a win, absolutely anything that could go wrong, fuckin does so every time.

Really not sure. Dr Tony's tweet - 'I won't be around until the end of October' suggests no big decisions until then. Hope I am wrong but thats what I feel.

If it's true about Bunn, then there is clearly no spirit in the dressing room and all the old attitudes still prevail. That has to be the managers fault.

And while I'm on attitudes, players that run up to the crowd and wave their arms up to encourage us to cheer them on really get on my halfpenny bits. You do that by playing well which is what you're paid to do and we are paying to watch. I'm looking at you captain Elphick!

The blueprint for the future should be:

Pick a keeper, (Gollini) and back him

Pick full backs, (Richards and Amavi) and play them as full backs. Defend, then u attack.

Pick centre halves, (Elphick and Chester) and make them command the team. If they don't then Baker will.

Pick 2 wide men who can defend and attack in the same game. (Adomah and Green) will work defensively as well as create.

Pick 2 central midfielders who have energy, tackling and distribution (Tish and Gardner) (personally would have Westwood ahead of Gardner but know many wouldn't. Jedinak is slow, sluggish and doesn't have the brain to compensate)

Pick a strike partnership for the game. We have incredible options and any will work depending on the opposition. (Gestede, Kodjia, Ayew, McCormack, RHM)

AND LET THEM PLAY WITHOUT FEAR. They all look terrified every time they step on the pitch ... and that's entirely mental

Well said mate, apart from the gardner bit. Jedi too slow to play in a 2 so I would play him in the centre of a 3 with Jack and Tsih. Then Rmac behind Ayew and Kodjia........

Was Gollini injured?

We need to stop chopping and changing an give an 11 a run at it.

RDM said not picking Tish was because he needed resting. But we are getting stuffed in midfield and he decides to hook Westwood off. So surely at that point he must replace him with another midfielder, which surely should be the best midfielder we have on current form. If he isn't going to use Tishbola why put him on the bench in the first place?

This makes no sense at all to me! Tish needs resting, give me a break! He now has 2 weeks off due to internationals then he is suspended so he will another week off, so that is 3 weeks off now or 4 weeks if you include today's rest! What is the point in buying him in the first place if we can't actually play him! RDM needs to seriously look at himself because he bought this player, although with what is going on in football at the moment nothing would surprise me as to why we bought him!!!
