Aston Villa v Wolverhampton Wanderers-Saturday 15th October 2016 5.30pm KO. Build up and Match Thread

Post by NARLA24 on Tue Oct 11, 2016 11:19 am

Early start for this thread being a derby game and the circumstances surrounding our current plight.
Will we be able to get a win...
Will it be another draw...
Or will we be on the end of a thumping.....
Will we have a manager in place or will we still be in never never land with no progress on an appointment.
Villa win for me, by a narrow margin. And that my friends is more in hope than confidence.
Over to you.

Coming from just outside of Wolverhampton, most of my mates and family are Wolves fans so we better flog them!

I see a loss, we are in disarray quite frankly and Wolves are getting results and will surely be up for the game.

I think we can swing this one Ayew being injured could be a blessing for us IMO, they will be up for it though so we have to get into em from the start & keep it going (he says hopefully) lol!

Jack Grealish played the No.10 role for England at Walsall this afternoon and, by all accounts, aced it ("pulled the strings all afternoon plus two assists"). With due consideration to the opposition, will this be his best position and should he start there on Saturday?

No. He slows down our attack way too much.

Yes, i've siad this for a while now that i think his best position is the playmaker role behind the forwards, however our formations haven't really allowed for this position to be played and he's been stuck on the wing. Hopefully that will change now.

No time for Bruce to have any impact except to convert what would have been a home defeat into a draw.

Brilliant. Great. Just fucking great, thanks NARLA.

I've got a 2 and a half year old at home. I thought TBAR was the one sanctuary, the one place in this world where I could escape Peppa-fucking-Pig. Peppa Pig on Netflix. Peppa Pig on BBC iPlayer. Peppa Pig on CBeebies when I get up in the morning. Peppa Pig on the CD in the car for every-fucking-journey. Peppa Pig books at bedtime. Peppa Pig cuddly toys on the stairs - just lying in wait like a trap door spider, ready to send me hurtling to the bottom, only hitting every third tread on the way. Peppa Pig jigsaw every single night after work. Peppa Pig live stage show in Plymouth last week. I hate, hate, hate those middle class pink bastards, and guess what, baby DK is 5 months old, so I get to enjoy THE WHOLE FUCKING PANTOMINE ONE MORE TIME!

Yep, thanks NARLA mate, just bloody thanks. lol!

Appointing Bruce on my birthday is a pisstake that pales into comparison with Peppa Pig, believe me, it really does......
