Unbelievable you have a go when people quote journos and then stick up a quote from that cockwomble!

LOL who knows? What is clear though is Round and Wyness will no doubt be on the phone to him methinks. Although personally I wouldn't mind seeing our club go for another big name like Laudrup, Bielsa (wishful thinking maybe but money talks) or someone of that ilk.

I wonder if he might get a while longer myself. The problem with giving him 2 games is that anything could happen in those. So it could blowing a hurricane tonight and we win 1-0 with the wind blowing the ball in the net ! - does that mean we have turned the corner ?
On our two clubs are reportedly sniffing around Bruce - do we jump the gun on RDM so we don't miss out - or do we stumble on for 5 or 6 games - with the odd win\draw\loss - but never really looking convincing.
I'd give him five games tbh but as I said lose tonight and he's on the chopping board at the weekend. I really hope the man gets the win and we can all back him because I just don't think we need more unrest now. But what shall be shall be I guess. My first priority is Villa at the end of the day, not the manager.

Erm I know he is a pundit and I never said he was a journalist? I doubt if 'Ollie' can even write?

Potato head is not known for his attacking football so the change in philosophy would too big for me. Laudrup plays nice attractive football?

Do you think Round - 3 weeks into his job will be suggesting a change of manager. If Round has any clout he would (IMO) being in favour of giving RDM a while longer.
Wyness (IMO) was never fully on board with RDM - and would recommend bruce if asked.
That said I feel we will get the results to keep RDM in the job a while longer.

In responce to someone asking him if it's true about Di Matteo having two games to turn things around.

Strange? He didn't deny that he would do it just that he hadn't decided yet?

Been away all day. Regarding Big Sam. Wouldn't you take him over anyone else? I would.

Re: The next Villa Manager
Yeah looks like Pearson is gone now. And all it does is add further weight to the theory that he's only done well at Leicester and nowhere else. At Southampton he failed, at Hull in one and a half seasons he couldn't get them challenging for promotion and now he's been a disaster at Derby. Yes in the midst of all that he got promotions with Leicester but in the end he still got sacked from there too.
I can't help but wonder if emotionally he got over losing the Villa job? Remember he waited a long time during the summer for it and it all seemed to be his to lose until Xia had different plans. Then he rocks up at Derby and perhaps the same enthusiasm wasn't there? Or is he just a busted flush now? Who knows.
Gonna be interesting to see who Derby turns to now. Powell? Bruce? And I wonder if we could nick a few of their players like Ince or Hughes? Would be worth a go I think.

Pearson is shit. Worked wonders at Leicester but only at Leicester.
Didn't want him when we sacked Sherwood. Didn't want him when we sacked Garde. Would rather RDM than him hands down.
