Charlie Austin has only just come on as a sub for Saints for the last 20 minutes maybe a decent bid for him we could get him i certainly think first team football and a decent fee we could get him.

Going back to the Klingon K*nt, if he did fail a medical and then had his contract reworded to suit (I imagine it was changed more to a pay-per-play basis) as Rangers are saying rather than the official "family reasons" Villa are trotting out, then if he can't secure a move in the next 10 days I hope to hell we take action against him to have his contract terminated. If he's not fit for purpose - whether that's of his own doing or because of a longer term wear-and-tear issue - then get his deal with us knocked on the head.

I'm sure there'd be something in his contract that states he must be in a condition to play prigrssinal football (although after Gabby last season, I question if there is!) and I'd hope there'd be some kind of part-payout from insurance if his legs are gone.

With Okore injured, we only have Baker on the bench with any real experience, right? No way is this prick Lescott getting in the bench huh? Although I kind of wish he would just for the dog's abuse he'd get if he was told to warm up.

I can't say I'd be happy if we didn't make any more signings.

That would mean Bacuna and Hutton as our Right Backs, and that's what cost us dear last season.

Also, I think we're missing that elusive creative, attacking, goal scoring midfielder.

And we definitely need Dr T's "Real No.9", as we can't just rely on Gestede, hence all the links to Bamford / Hernandez. This position worries me the most and Dr T has stated it will be the hardest one to get over the line. Sherwood couldn't do it last year (with Adebayour) and that too, cost us dear as we never replaced Benteke's goals.

With the loss of Sinclair and Traore, a couple of genuine wide men would be useful too, so we can switch up the formation and have some impact subs to bring on late in games.

We are still short in areas for me RB is a concern, we don't have any recognised winger to give us a different option, i would like another CAM and a striker - on tuesday the bench didn't have the options of a game changer.

I know he has been out, but he is awful - cheap backup for Benteke, never has been good enough - time to move on for the big fella!

He was the worst player we had on the pitch today, and Westwood was playing.

He was the worst but he's hardly played, gave us about an hour and did his best. Could we have maybe made a different sub and brought on Adama? No, because he doesn't want to fight for Villa.

If you aren't prepared to put the effort in them you don't get a place. So yes, Libor wasn't great, but he gave his all and could even have got the winner from the corner late on.

Our bench is a concern. There are no game-changers. Green will become one but that'll need a year of experience first.

It's all over for you if Plan B is Kozak although I do wonder if RDM is trying to send a msg to Xia by using him as a sub.

Where is Audrey Hepburn? I can't say I've thought massively highly of him - he's just competent at this stage - but competent is light years ahead of Kozak. When Kozak burst through the middle he was caught by everyone. It's like playing FIFA with a broken R2 button.

As it stands, that side we put out against Derby is very average and I can see nothing more than 9th-10th place. Adding Tish and Jedi will give us an extra 2 places further up the table if they stay fit but with the number of games and our lack of depth, we ain't finishing top 2 that's for certain.

Ravell Morrisson set to sign for us according to Italian media after being left out of the Lazio squad which is good we need a creative midfielder badly.

You beat me to it mate. A couple of other twitters accounts saying same things this morning. Lets hope so. Would be great for us I think. Another striker and we'd be nearly there.

This is one of those signings that could be a worldy or could backfire badly. I have to say I'm excited about RM signing if true and with him jedi tish grealish and mac plus ayew up front we'd be some threat.
