RDM has also stated that Gana is definitely leaving, nothing he can do about it. Replace Adama with Green and Grealish, push Ayew left and Ravel Morrison in the middle. Bamford up top, and probably Lescott for Baker and that's gonna be our team.

Not that I want Lescott anywhere near the team, I just suspect RDM likes him.

I completely agree too. That describes him perfectly in the premier league...A league he was new to. I reckon that part-season, RDM and a slower league will see him shine.

If he can stop getting bloody injured!

I can't really comment on Traore because he can't stay fit but one thing I will say he could be the most injured player of all time if he carries on. He has the physique of beast but seems like he is made out of paper lol.

I think it's because he's so massive and muscular. People that are like that tend to get niggling injuries all the time. Like myself for instance. All these muscles give me such niggling injuries that keep me from doing gardening. Real shame.

But in all seriousness, didn't Gabby's injury problems start after he started bulking up as well?

When i watched Traore run rings around Notts County last season i was convinced he was going to be the new Tony Morley, until they did a hatchet job on him that is and we've barely seen him since.

The Jury is definitely out on him but he so has the potential it's just whether he realises there is no "i" in "Team" or not.

I completely disagree. In his limited amount of appearances Adama was electrifying and nearly always made something happen. Set up the goal at Palace, scored against Notts County, set-up the goal against Sunderland...almost scored a worldy vs Arsenal etc!!..does he still need to develop his game? sure...but he's only 20 for God sake!!..given a run in this league I have no doubts whatsoever he will be a revelation and you might look a tad naive in the process.

That's a decent side on paper provided that Tish is a hard lad because neither Traore or Grealish will so much by way of defensive stuff (I no nothing of Green).

The big issue with that side is that Tish, Gardner and Traore are all made of stuff that easily shatters. Then what?

Proved what point? He barely started a game so how could he be expected to do much more? Injuries and incompetent managers ruined his season last year so imo it's foolhardy to totally write him off when he's still a young kid.

Anyway after today it's clear we need a right-back, striker, creative midfielder and I still think another central defender should be considered...especially if Lescott leaves.

Also the more I think about it the more I agree with a potential deal for Pantillimon...an experienced keeper could be crucial if young Gollini doesn't settle straight away...Boro's first goal today wasn't too good from the young man's point of view.

The good thing about this loss is that it doesn't paper the cracks. Time to spend money.

Formation is key to it all too, with our personnel I think our best would be 4-3-1-2.

Lets hope Xia gets embarrassed by all the twitter comments and instructs RDM to get his targets. We need to get a few players completely away from the 1st team till they leave.

Getting targets: I think we're playing the smart option in waiting to see how the premier league transfers go in the last few days and will hopefully pick up a player or two that we might not have to offload if we get promoted.

A potentially dangerous ploy though because if those targets don't materialise or won't sign, then players who are available to us right now will likely be gone and we'll be headed into the season using mostly the relegation wankers.

With this league being stronger than the past we have to get up first time as it's only gonna get tougher. I think we'd be better off chancing our arm and spending big now, getting promoted and having the big bucks coming in than only half spending for 2 or 3 seasons.

Is our new director of football working quietly and unannounced in the background or is Xia still fucking about with this???
