So what can we expect from this game ?
Aston Villa v Swansea 24th October 2015 3pm kick off.
Starting this early because of the importance of this game.
My personal opinion is this will be the game that makes or breaks our season for sure.
Another defeat is simply unthinkable. Should we lose this one then the club will be in total turmoil. No leadership, no direction, no bloody chance of us staying up, just when the massive BT Sport and Sky Sport money comes in.
This making the gap between the Premiership and the Championship even bigger than it is now.
I am going to be optimistic or this game and go for a Villa win. Surely we are not as bad s we seem or am i looking through biased Villa glasses ?
2-1 Villa for me.

Where's the Swansea win and Sherwood given the keys to the city option?

Thanks for kicking off the thread, mate. Although I think we need a few more poll options :)
We seemed to have no difficulty in scoring (just defending leads) but the excitement has gone, the goals have dried up and I just cannot see us getting anything from this.
The silver lining - one would desperately hope - is that it'll be the end of Lambert. There's just no way anyone could tolerate these results with such a golden casket that awaits us.
But then, Lambert shattered every known record and then went on to make some up, so quite why I'm confident Sherwood would get the arse, is beyond me.
2-0 to Swansea.
EDIT: maybe his pride will kick in and he'll voluntarily fuck off.

1-3 Swansea and Jordan Ayew witnesses the football equivalent of his big brother stealing his dinner money, nicking his girlfriend and telling his dad that Jordan has drunk his bottle of whiskey and replaced it with cold tea (that last bit may or may not have been something I did to my dad once - couldn't possibly say. ..)

Best result I can foresee is a draw and it still results in him being sacked!

You know what, I was in the process of adding that one into the poll for NARLA, but I honestly do not believe there's any way in hell that he could survive another loss. It is utterly inconceivable. Despite whatever nonsense has dribbled out the General's mouth.
I suspect there'll be a bedsheets of some description coming out after halftime when we're 2-0 down.

0-0, Sherwood to stay with us, the Swansea fixture must be worst of the footballing calendar!

1-3 Swansea win and Sherwood to stay due to lack of quality leadership at all levels.
Reason, confidence is shot, poor quality players (Many overrated) apparent lack of fitness in the squad and the fact that every team in the top 2 divisions likely now fancy playing us as we're so soft.

3-0 Swansea, they're going through a bad patch and we always like to give struggling teams a boost!

I honestly don't have a clue how badly we'll lose, mainly because I don't know who he's going to drop this time. Surely if he can starve Gestede of one of his best feeds by not playing Amavi he could drop Richards? N'Zog at LB again? Maybe play four forwards in a 4-2-4? It's beyond a joke now. I have no faith in Sherwood motivating a team, let alone being able to pick our strongest lineup based on what the club undoubtedly knows about Swansea and how they'll likely be set up.

I don't believe the 'one more game to save your job' line & I don't think that the board would have had their crisis meeting & then not come out & made an official backing story unless they decided to make a change. I think Tim'll be gone by the weekend so the team & the result guesses are farts in a thunderstorm.
Or I might be wrong...

Fucking hell, and I thought I could bear a grudge. Seriously, though, I trump your grudge, even though yours is, I'm sure, a mis-type. Why blame Lamebert when one can still be blaming the Hibernian Pygmy Rat for everything, which is what I do.

I think the poll option missing is what will happen. We will lose and Sherwood will stay with us.

I feel bad about saying this because I love this club and always will but I can't see anything other than a win for Swansea on Saturday. Swansea going through a bit of a rocky patch ---- cue Villa.
I go so far as saying that whilst Timbo is in charge I can see us losing every game. I honestly can't see us picking up another point in the foreseeable future.
