He's refused to drop either of the dopey sugarbags who cost us against Chelsea and has decided the best thing he can possibly do is throw every attacker we have on the pitch whilst dumping Amavi and Gil.

That's certainly the last throw of the dice.
It's almost like he puts all the names in a hat, and does a draw.
Westwood dropped will be interesting to see, but Veretout must wish he was back in France or in Leciester.

I think this is what Sir Humphrey Appleby would describe as a "brave" decision.

Unless he's injured himself in the last 24 hours then you have to assume Veretout has had a run-in with Sherwood. He just has to be on the bench at least!
If Swansea are in any way competent then it's only a matter of time before "You don't know what you're doing" starts ringing around the ground*
*you watch, the jammy sugarbag will have a lucky day, win 3-0 and save his job.

Having seen the line-up, I can only assume that he wants to be sacked and take the compo.
(Of course, in the unlikely event that we get a result, I am now going to have loadsa egg on face!)

From that line up and that bench, I assume Timbo is going for the same "play shit in the first half to confuse them, then play better in the second and scrape a win" that was such a brilliant and Machiavellian tactic against the Blouse.
God Timmy you are such a genius, they'll never realise just how cunning and brilliant you are, mwah ha ha ha
We will be the most powerful team in ze whole Tri-State area!!!!!!!

Fucking amazing how this man still is playing Richardson.
I seriously think Amavi wasn't one of his "signings" and he's now just benching the players he was given by the club.
Rumours had it that Gestede and Ayew was his signings. Oh look they're both playing.

Who is going to actually win the ball for us, against a team known for its passing ability?
If this comes off, I give up as all football sense goes out the window!
Thank God, I decided not to go!

I'm consistent at least

Wouldn't mind us spunking out for Shelvey. Class player.

It's so easy to shut us down. There is zero movement when we got the ball. Absolutely zero movement.

People will probably disagree because of the goals Gestede has scored this season, but I think we would be a better team with Kozak. He simply offers more intelligent off ball movement.

Christ Guzan and Shelvey in the same team - Uncle Fester and Nosferatu - we'd be a hit on Halloween that's for sure........

Nobody available for a pass. A lot of our players are hiding. I'd get Gabby and Grealish off for Gil and Traore.

The good news is Swansea are calamitous dogshit too.
Not too bad a first half in fairness, at least the mindset seems to be more attacking even if the goods aren't there. Bemused by Richardson starting again and Lescott over Clark remains a continuous mystery. Ayew and Hutton the standouts so far IMO - our Ayew looks better than theirs, which I didn't expect to be typing.

This 100%...
I see that Ayew is bringing a bit of a different approach too. He would work well with players that are not as static as Gestede and Gabby.

It would be nice for us to be given an opportunity to see but alas I don't think it's coming any time soon.

In fairness, Hutton and Ayew have looked OK working together down the right.

Why the merry fuck is Gabby playing after causing shit in training? He's been anonymous in the first half too. There's literally no reason for him to be picked.
