Seriously, this guy may not be a glamour signing but he's an absolute beast who may thrive in the PL. We've got players like Veretout and Gil who have superb delivery, so he'll have plenty of chances.

Yes he does. It's £32.5m plus Benteke!

One thing Gestede does better then Benteke is defending in our box from corners or set pieces. On several occasions we conceded goals with Benteke losing his man, either man to man or zonal. Anything whipped into our box or floated into the oppositions, you can bet your bottom dollar Rudy is going to challenge for it. Rudy is going to ruffle up so many feathers this season; let him off the leash against United. Remember how Benteke put the wind up Smalling a few years back; Rudy, with his presence, is going to have them running for cover! Rudy is an ox compared to Benteke; pound for pound I know which one I'd want in my corner! Love the guy already; cult figure in the making....

Straight up beast. Fantastic signing. Great touch, strength, aerial presence, and finishing ability. I was really impressed with him on Saturday and can't wait to see him play again next weekend.

The thing I like is that for the last 5 season (since Laursen retired really) corners like that have been nothing corners for us with little threat of scoring.
