Marching on or the end of the road?

Hope I'm wrong but there is a number 25 there so we may be seeing Gil?
Sherwood said Gil isn't a player for a relegation scrap. Maybe he is for a Wembley SF though UTV

Re: FA Cup semi-final v Liverpool
Grealish ran the game and it is no coincidence that Benteke scored and Delph, our captain, got the game-winning goal.
I secretly expected us to win against Liverpool because of Benteke's record against them but to do it at Wembley with all the expectation was a huge achievement.
Arsenal in the final will be a different class of opposition to this Liverpool side who have three world class attackers (Sterling, Coutinho and Sturridge) but are otherwise very ordinary, as they proved today.
Defence needs to be complimented for keeping them quiet.
Edit: Sturridge did not play which helped us. Brendan Rogers bringing Balotelli on at half-time was a joke. He was playing his joker because he had no idea how to beat us.

MOTM to every single one of them, including Tim and every Villa fan there. Delph, Benteke and Grealish were the three involved in both goals, while Vlaar was immense. Cleverley also gets a special mention, as does N'Zog, who worked well sharing the roaming number 10 role with Jack.
I don't like Richardson at LB but that's the second time this season he's cleared a ball off the line and for that, I forgive him everything!
Had to watch it on the telly, you lot all sounded fantastic.

WHAT a win, superb stuff, to a man they were simply superb. What Tim has done in the short time at the club is nothing short of Amazing. Who thought the FA Cup Final was possible a few months back when we were getting beat on a glum night bt Hull.
Now to get safe in the next few weeks and properly prepare for the final, no reason we can't go and make it 8 FA Cup wins! Had a tear in my eye at Full time, Brilliant!! UTV

Re: FA Cup semi-final v Liverpool
Great win for the lads! All of them played out of their skins (except maybe for the defensive error that led to the pool goal, but never mind, we still outplayed em!)
Totally agree with FoxyAV - you guys sounded fantastic, you were even roaring over the Russian commentary! Was roaring on the Villa from the Motherland, with one of my Russian friends who's a Liverpool supporter there too!
Now for the final, let's beat Arsenal (could get tense, my girlfriend is a Gooner!)

Re: FA Cup semi-final v Liverpool
Absolutely brilliant win, outbattled and outclassed Liverpool. Arsenal were outbattled yesteday and didn't have an answer to it at times. I can see us doing the same to Arsenal and pulling off another shock as we not only have battle but we have the class and are now seeing that under sherwood. As for the Bossman Sherwood, ive got a feeling he could become a a truely great Villa manager, he suits the job perfectly, he is a leader of men, the fans and the players love his confidence and feed of his belief and arogance which I think you need to be successful. Look at the effect he is having to on the likes of Grealish Delph and Benteke. The great thing is that I don't see today as a one off either, there was nothing flukey about our win today, also the key men in the team are realtively young... Delph, Grealish, Benteke, Cleverly, Okore, Baker etc. exciting times ahead, starting with beating the Arsenal and lifting the Cup . Now off for a glass of wine or four

What an absolutely great performance, I too hope Stevie G has a nice birthday wherever he has it, but it wont be at Wembley. Our boys took it to them and should have won by more, that Coutinho goal was going so wide it might have hit the corner flag if it hadn't caught Okores knee. Looking forward to the final, what a difference a manager makes.

Looking at the post, look what a decent manager has done to our team, loads of confidence, next step is to secure our place in the premiership.
Onwards and upwards UTV, what a great day.

Amazing game to watch - how often are you in a position where you would dearly love to win but a loss wouldn't be upsetting & then you get treated to your team playing some great football? We played so well that it looked like the only way we'd lose is from arsewipe piece of bad luck.
So funny what Tim said about the injuries coming from the new fitness regime but he'd rather have unfit players out injured than playing!
