Blackburn in the semis and bradford in the final please!

That would do very nicely. Or vice versa.

I'd like us to stuff Bradford in the semi and Arsenal in the final.

I want revenge on Bradford for Lambert's debacle

Anything easy for the next round at least, please. I'd hate to fall at this late hurdle.

Bradford in the semis followed by us beating Liverpool on Stevie G's birthday (What a Liverplop wankfest that will be )
Gerrard to miss a pen , score an O:G in a resounding 4-0 Villa win

Haven't managed to get on here as much as I'd of like this week but what a week for all things Villa!!! 
So happy right now, well done Tim haven't seen a villa side with this much fight for quite a few years.

Who woke up Nzogbia??? Sinclair needs to be perm also.

Yep all this cup magic will pale into insignificance if we don't maintain the form over the next two games and beyond. We can't take our eye off the ball. Thankfully, I don't think we will. 6 points in the next two could be perfectly possible given current confidence and dare I say it 'form' IF we could win the next two it would see us on 31 points and pulling away surely? Grab a few more points before the semi final and we COULD be reasonably safe and looking forward to the Magic of the cup again. How magic was it?

Oh and Bradford please and Blackburn in the Final 8) How would our Tim feel about that? Won the league with them. Strikes me as someone that couldn't care less on the day and will set out to destroy them. What a job he's doing. To think we were constantly told by some "No other manager will get this lot playing any better" looks a little naive now doesn't it?

Liverpool or Blackburn in our semi-final then! If Bradford get through, I can see Arsenal really wanting to go for the jugular there as revenge for losing to them in the league cup as we did a couple of years ago!

Honestly, I think we got the best draw. We've done alright against the scoucers in recent times and they're not looking the best this season, so Blackburn may nick a win against them in the replay. Bradford deserves some revenge for knocking us out a few seasons ago and Arsenal slaughtered us earlier on this season, so I would love to get one over on either of them in the final. UTV!!! IN SHERWOOD WE TRUST!!!

Saying that they're not looking best is a massive understatement. They've been immense since Boxing Day and are the most in-form team in England.

Still fancy our chances in a one-off match but I'd rather Blackburn!

They missed out on the title by 2 points last season and almost looked like they were going to win it in mid April. Yes, they have had a lot of results go their way since Boxing Day, but they were incredibly inconsistent the first half of the season, which is why they're only 5th and 12 points behind Chelsea, having played an extra game. They've also played very poorly in the FA cup so far (2 replays against Championship teams and barely nicked a win against Wimbledon). I think we can beat them, if they pull it out against Blackburn in the replay.

Rodgers complained about the Anfield pitch on Sunday saying that they couldn't play their kind of football on it, to which Lee Bowyer replied "if he thinks that's bad wait till he sees our pitch at Blackburn!"

Blackburn are not out of it yet.

I actually think it's not too bad a draw really, a chance to play Blackburn (Although that would be tough as they park the bus which we always struggle against) or Liverpool who we seem to beat quite often these days, well at theirs at least!!

It's a semi final so was always gonna be tough but Liverpool may just be a little jittery against us due to our Anfield wins.

Lets just hope we get a few layers back fit!! :shock:

Our semi final is almost guaranteed to be an effective playoff for a Europa League place too. One more win and Tim has guided up to Europe in just a few months!

Just getting to the final doesn't get us European football. We have to win it. They changed the rules (or so I read)

Dan , are you sure , ! thought an European place HAD to come from FA Cup participation ?
Anyone know when the tickets go on sale , i think we have earned our day out after the dross we have had to put up with in recent seasons ? Cant wait !
