Re: Carlos Sánchez
If Sanchez speaks french he'll at least be able to speak to Nzog and Benteke in training.

Re: Carlos Sánchez
Anyone know what Sanchez will earn a week? If it's true that he wanted £40k a week to play for Bolton in 2012 as reported by the mirror (which I very much doubt)
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/bolton-scrap-carlos-sanchez-interest-1234215
Then what sort of wage did he demand from Villa after a good world cup performance? surely if we can pay him that sort of money now he's two years older then we should be able to up Vlaar wages and renew his contract.

Re: Carlos Sánchez
Just commented on this in the Vlaar thread. It would seem from the transfer fee that the club paid off the 3rd party contracts and essentially freed him from slavery so I doubt he's on a massive salary. The player will be able to keep his own signing on fees in future so it's all a bit of a trade off.
Then again, with Villa who knows?

Re: Carlos Sánchez
In full training yesterday and today. Looking like a possible starter for Saturday.

Wouldn't surprise me if Lambert starts him on the bench following a win & a clean sheet at Stoke

Re: Carlos Sánchez
Would love to see him in action but I guess it's a bit too soon, Cole played 73mins for the U21's on Monday and looks like he might get some game time on Saturday, also Okore played the full 90 and looked fit to challenge for his place, Sanchez needs to improve his match fitness and get up to speed with his team mates before he get's a run out, may well see him for the Leyton Orient game on the 27th.

Re: Carlos Sánchez

Welcome Carlos.
We've now got the rock and concrete.
Hopefully opposing players will find themselves between a rock and a hard place.

Re: Carlos Sánchez
With Delph out it makes sense to play Carlos. We all knew that it would take time for him to get up to speed, but no one thought it would take this long. Well at QPR it will up to him to show the talent that was shown in the world cup. I for one will be rooting for him just to keep Joe Cole out of the squad. There's only one Carlos Sanchez etc. what the hell do like bouncing boobies

Re: Carlos Sánchez
I like the lad. And he went on a decent run of improving game after game. But his last couple have been so bad, it's like he's been taking something from his homeland.

He is not a premier league footballer. His defending and backtracking at the second goal. I was laughing. Fuck me he is shite.

Re: Carlos Sánchez
Very average player who's lack of ability leads to mistakes and costly one's at that. His overall game is not suitable to the English Premier League.
