Never posted an in itk before but please trust me I know the flights are booked.

No worries mate - he is nicknamed the rock and apparently there is a £2m buy out clause in his elche contract -

Sanchez is a 28 year-old central midfielder who can also operate at centre half and has 44 caps for his country including at this year's World Cup in Brazil where he played in four of Colombia's five matches.

This sounds very promising indeed.

Some big powerful players this season - better than the powder puff ones getting muscled off the ball last season.

Call me skeptical...flights from Alicante to Birmingham are booked all the time. Not too much trouble to find one online.

All I know is flights have been booked through the villa for this player, if you don't believe me I couldn't give a monkeys. I am pleased some people appreciated the info

Any doubters will know how correct this info is very soon.

Don't do that. Don't be the "typical ITK" and go all defensive-like just because I asked a question, Chicken. I'm not faulting you OR your info (yet)...just seeking additional information and clarification is all.

We've had a manager leave. He's still here.
We've been led to understand "busy weeks at BMH" were in store. Nothing happened.
Any number of linked players have been ready to don the shirt. Nope.
We've had ear-spotters 100% assured that Micky Arison is already running Aston Villa. Laugh.

You've obviously gotten access to the fact that flights have been booked...so when can we expect his arrival? Today? Tuesday? September 1?

And please stop thinking that I was knocking someone. I'm skeptical by nature, and have no problem saying that. It's not like I called Chicken a muppet or anything! There's been a lot of "appreciated info" on here that hasn't come to pass, you'd have to agree.

Note that arrive today doesn't mean sign today as these deals can take a couple of days to finalise -all being well I'd expect him to sign maybe Monday .

Holy guacamole... is it possible that we might actually have a EPL quality defense this season???

if i'm not careful i might get excited and look forward to this coming season!   

  

that said- its great to hear that we are finally shoring up the defense this season with older experienced players.

Is it crazy to think that with a more sound defensive unit this season PL might actually employ some of the attacking footy he used often at Norwich?!? Perhaps that 442 Diamond he used? Or attacking mids with a target man up top?

We might actually be decent to watch this season if we sign Sanchez and ONE flair player to help unlock a D
