Apparently, we have only sold around 7000 tickets for parma and the Police are planning on a likely attendance of 10 to 12k.

Season tickets are at around the 10k mark and we are struggling with Newcastle and Hull games. No wonder the feckless imbecile rushed over here from his bunker. He's worried shirtless IMO.

  

I've seen only 14k STs sold so far - either way, it sounds like its up to 10k down on normal.
So even if those people still end up going to half the games on a match by match basis, the money lost to the club (plus all the other walk-in business lost on reduced gates) is orders of magnitude more than it would have cost to bin off Lambert and get a proper mgr in. Of course no-one could see that coming three months ago so its an understandable mistake.

So you won't support anything to do with the club?  Now I understand not supporting the chairman or a manager but anybody who pulls on a villa shirt should be supported. For me Lambert will start as our manager and for that reason alone I will support him but he will have to do a hell of a lot to keep that support. I hope and wish that Lambert is a success here as that'd mean OUR club is a success. If he isn't then so be it and I'll support the next one but one things for sure I'll always support the team. 1. When the team show some passion,grit,determination and a sense of knowing what it really means to put on the shirt then sure they will get my support
2. I really have nothing to say to anyone who is still in the Lambert Love Boat , how anyone can defend this Manager of our CLUB is staggering , no offence

Lambert Love Boat?? He's in charge because we are for sale and probably would struggle to get any one under the circumstances. I wanted him sacked last season it's not going to happen at the minute so I'll support him and wish him all the best. I assume you'd want us to lose every game so he gets the sack? I don't and never will want the Villa to lose a game. I'll support the team and hope they show all the characteristics you wish to see. It's a new season so for me they all start with a clean slate.

Steve Stride would be good, not certain what he been doing since leaving though, but at least he knows the Villa and what is expected.

How I read the post was like this. The club don't really deserve our support, owner, manager, players etc, so let's go there sing and cheer with the thought that it will ultimately help US the fans, that deserve better. So there isn't wanting us to lose or anything like that, just cheering as a fan with and for other fans to show just what a great proposition we could be for someome wishing to buy us.

CV I think at the minute there's a lot of angst amongst fans and things can get misinterpreted amongst all the chit chat.

We all want the same ultimately. We all post on here and Twitter or wherever as we all love and care for our club. We'll have different views and some may not want to go to VP, whilst others will go regardless, but ultimately we ALL want our club back and competing, rather than just existing. So let's just remember that when we're discussing/debating posts.

We ALL want the same outcome. At least I hope we do
