Glad this was posted as it saves me writing out my list! I think any of the players Van Gaal doesn't want at United would be good. Even Young would be welcomed back I think despite the stick he gets when he plays against us. Desperate for players with some kind of attacking ideas

You wonder just who's going to take so much of the dross of us.

At least we won't have the problems we had with some of the dreck O'Neill saddled us with. We were stuck with some right overpaid wasters who were so overpaid other clubs didn't want them. Lambert's bargain basement buys are lowly enough paid we won't have too much trouble finding lower level clubs willing to take them on and won't be too bothered if we get stuck with them on the wage bill.

There's also the fact that having a premiership club like us on a player's CV makes them a bit more interesting to other clubs.
