POLL: Who do you want?

It could be anyone really depending on all the unknowns around it. Of those listed I like the idea of Pochettino most. Especially if he comes in with the ex-CEO from there.

I think if we have new ownership, Lambert should certainly be replaced. But not by most of those below. From that list -

Would take to replace Lambert: Pocchetino, Moyes.
Wouldn't take to replace Lambert: Rosler, Laudrup, Di Matteo, Mackay, Cowans (he's a coach), Sherwood.
Wouldn't want within 500 zillion miles of Villa Park: Harry Redknapp.

I have been impressed with Pocchetino since he has been at Southampton.Plays attractive football .He would be my choice

Pochettino out ahead so far with nearly half the votes.

What is Harry Redknapp doing on that list? Is that a joke?

I went with Pochettino simply because of the way Southampton press and play attractive football, but then I got thinking, he could bring Cortese with him, 2 birds with one stone and all that....then I got thinking more and thought he could bring Rodriguez, Lallana or Schniderling as well, and the scouts...he'll lets just BUY Southampton haha.

A second option would be Frank Rikaard, maybe worth a punt to get us started and attract players initially.

Nope. Seen a couple of people say his name on FB/Twitter etc... and someone has actually voted for him on here ha. I've seen all those names mentioned and they're all on that oddschecker, which I'm surprised at. A few of them were before the takeover talks intensified...
But Arry did do a good job at Spurs I thought, if comparing to O'Neill he did a great job as they broke top 4 twice, did well when in the Champs League and played great, attacking football; all with with less money too. All that said, I wouldn't want the pr&%k!!

  they did seem to work well together and I read that Cortese always plans for the future which it seems Lerners people only planned for Champs League football at the start of the regime!

I used to think the same about Lambert being able to turn it around but now I think he most definitely could not.

I would actually like to see what he could achieve given the full support and financial clout from a new owner, he has met the current chairman's aim of just staying in the league whilst reducing costs by getting players mainly from the pound shop and getting rid of the majority of the higher earners.

I would say same thing when defending him, but what I see on the pitch is just pathetic and I can't defend him anymore.

There is too much groundswell against lambert now, he can't manage, can't coach, can't motivate , can't get tactics or formations right, and  is clueless - he can spot a player however and may well be a decent scout.

As a manager I wouldn't even recommend him to Cowdenbeath.

It's because we sent jets out to get him. He was having talks with us. People put money on it. There are a lot of names on there.

Votes of confidence mean sod all in football- doug said atkinson was one of the best 3 managers in the country and sacked him 4 days later .

Moyes was assured his job was safe a fortnight ago and sacked yesterday .
