Re: Huddersfield v Villa (Thin red line advance another 10 paces)
Will be disappointed with anything less than a win.
Win this and then against Wigan and that should confirm our safety, then need to get as many more wins as possible and see where it takes us.

Bruce will use the underdog status to inspire the boys to show Huddersfield how good they can be.
I don't have a.problem with Amavi as long as he's not LB. I would prefer him in goal though....

That periscope feed from HeatherAVFC was watchable last time out. What am I saying....2017 and I'm reduced to watching some shaky mobile phone feed that captured more of someone's bald spot than the game. Someone posted a link to the radio WM commentary so I ran that at the same time so I could at least pretend it was coverage!
I can't bring myself to watch those kind of live "broadcasts". If I wanted the experience of being blurred vision, swaying pissed in the stands struggling to follow the game then I'd get pissed and go to the match, squinting and swaying wondering what the fuck was going on. As it is, I gratefully tune in to the radio links that those kind souls out there provide thanking fuck Tony Butler isn't on there.
As for any streams, big odds against I would say. Arse v Bayern and Napoli v Real Madrid plus a full Championship programme of games tonight. Think it's the radio again but if I find anything other I'll post it, assuming that's allowed?
There's something about the radio though isn't there. Reminds me of the old days listening to Villa in Europe and Tony Butler''s prayer mat, or when new kid on the block Radio WM used to cut into the programme with that car horn sound and a voice saying "Goal action on radio WM" and you'd be panicking in case anderlecht had scored and instead it was Walsall pulling one back against Northampton Town.
In the hierarchy of stress, radio commentary is worst. If I'm at the game I feel like I can help by shouting and singing, if it's on TV I can see what's happening and even shout at the TV to make me feel better. Live text is too detached. But radio, jeez it kills me not being able to see but still getting the match as it's being played, and if you have a commentator that is over enthusiastic it stresses me as I think they are through on goal with six attackers unmarked in the box only to find out its a throw in from the half way line. Nope, I'll take periscope thanks

Tonight will tell us whether the wins against poor and/or out of form opposition has given the team the much needed confidence to kick on or if it was just a false dawn.

I won't be too down beat if we lose, they have only lost 2 out of last 16 matches ( providing we don't get spanked ), I will be happy with a point but if we get all 3 I'm gonna give the Mrs the best 30 seconds of her life.

With what we have available that has to be the best starting 11. In fact it shows how we've underperformed cos that team should scare the shit out of any championship side. Tonight will show how much we've come on as Huddersfield will be a very stern test.
Come on you lions!

Forgot to mention Lansbury needs to be careful here with all the injuries we've got at the minute, we really can't afford to loose him to a yellow card.

Hourihane just missed a sitter, that's been one of our biggest downfalls this season, not taking our chances.

It's a radio stream so the black screen is correct. If you've got no sound, click the little audio icon on screen. Mine seems to be muted by default everytime I go on Periscope, I don't know if this is a normal thing?

This sounds like it's going to be like the game at Villa Park, we can't take our chances and then they score against us on the sucker-punch.

Re: Huddersfield v Villa (Thin red line advance another 10 paces)
Sounds like we're doing very well, houri through on goal and shot over their bar, lanso smashes a shot against the angle of post and bar and their keeper nearly throwing the ball into his own net.
Keep this up second half and no one will be happier than me to eat my own words about losing.
I think the noses are 0-1 down as well to Wigan which is fecking hilarious

fuck.
seriously, we are punished for our lack of clinical finishing in the first half - should be 2-1 to Villa not 1-0 to the slopeheads.

Mind you I'm watching Arsenal whilst listening to the villa commentary - Aggregate score to Bayern is 9-2!! Wenger must surely be on his way. (Edit 10-2!!)
Back to the Villa - we will have been robbed if we don't get something from this game
