Yeah them still in the division next year would be both annoying and fecking hilarious at the same time.

I suspect the punishment won't be quite that harsh, maybe transfer embargo and a fine. Although Swindon did something similar and were denied promotion, but much more money at stake these days.

Interesting to note that both clubs have been managed by a manager with a reputation for dodgy dealings, and apparently there could be up to twelve clubs involved, hopefully we're not one of them.

Apparently the investigation relates to dealings between Premier league clubs and French clubs. Judging by the statement below it's relating to bungs to players and agents to avoid tax.
