For the fourth goal, even after making the initial mistake Gana couldn't be bothered to track back to stop Sterling from scoring, he just let him go!

I watched about 5 minutes of this before I realised I didn't care. However in those 5 minutes Cissokho had a drive forward for 30 odd yards, and I honestly thought it was a strange sight to behold. I couldn't even remember the last time I saw a Villa player taking the ball and charging forward. I suspect the last man was Ashley Young, but I digress. Kinda highlights how shite we are when even something as ordinary as that is like beluga caviar on a Monday night.

I imagine there's more chance of the ball ricocheting off it and into the net than one of our lone strikers scoring.

I'd be inclined to agree, it would be at least as mobile as Gestede.

Re their 3rd goal, why the fuck wasn't Guzan standing in the centre circle for Gana's back pass, I'm speechless, Guzan out, he cant read the fucking game.

On the one hand Bunn, Okore (at least until Bacuna being a dick necessitated him coming on) and Lescott were rested, being as they are our main defensive players but on the other, there are lessons to be learnt (or reiterated). Richards isn't a CB. If Bunn isn't the backup, he himself needs backup. Bacuna isn't working out. He picked up his game a couple of times in defence and these last two or three matches he's been poor.
