My mistake.
I reckon 228 slags is much more achievable.

A couple of good results have distracted people from Lerners mismanagement.

Re: The Protest thread
Sorry but no. If the team picks up a couple of wins on the bounce we might stay up, so the fans are doing the right thing and supporting them. Bullocks to Lerner out. That can be saved for outside/after the game.

Have to agree, at this moment in time the team comes first, when the inevitable happens then will be the time to voice our frustrations.

Fans are right to be supporting the players and protests should be outside/after the game but we are not even seeing protests there. The way I see it the manager has started to improve things the players are showing more determination and the supporters are giving good support. Meanwhile the tossers that run things have written us off and dont seem prepared to back the efforts of everyone else involved. They deserve nothing but the richest of contempt and protests, demonstrations or whatever should be part of that but its all gone quiet.

Re: The Protest thread
Yes but I wasn't addressing that. I was addressing the "I watched the match on Sky and heard no protests" remark

Re: The Protest thread
There's no way on earth we will get out of this mess so start the protests against that sugarbag Lerner now, this team just hasn't got the goals in it to make a decent fight against relegation.

We are on our own. The Generals have raised the white flag. Whatever happens, this year or in the next ten years, we must hope that this board of muppets have all fucked off. No credit can be given to any board member for anything.

I think most have accepted relegation - and personally I won't miss the premiership.
I think alot of people expect us to be billy big boll*x in the championship and bounce straight back..- however the rumblings I'm hearing are that we will be run as a championship club.
A worry quote I heard from someone is
"Lerner isn't done with us yet'

Re: The Protest thread
Protest as much as we like it won't change anything. Relegation will mean Lerner is here at least another full year as theres no way he will accept the drop in valuation that being a championship side would entail. He has already put us up for sale and stepped down as chairman, nothing will happen now until he receives an offer that meets his valuation of the club. No amount of petitions, banners or anything else can force his hand in this, we can rightly let people know how we feel, and we all know its great to vent, but ultimately he won't even be watching us from now on so it won't make a blind bit of difference to him.
