I'd like to hear the whole of Villa Park singing 'Fuck off Lerner, the Villa is ours'. For an entire match shown live on TV.

TBH I'm still laughing at Ebeneezer and Dan's ideas about a blood soaked giant cuddly lion and a picture of that dentist's face pasted over Lerners.

How about everyone brings a bag of rubbish and throws it onto the pitch under a campaign banner of "What a waste" signifying the waste of all our time as Villa supporters under Lerner - maybe even hijack a bin lorry and "go large", backing it up and tipping 3 tons of shit against the steps of the Holte......

Take a towel. As soon as the next goal goes in against us, throw it in.

It's very defeatist but Lerner has clearly given up and is staying away (I don't buy this "he's a recluse" bullshit...he's a fuck-up and he's hiding like he's always hid), Fox has been as quiet as a mouse, the team look finished so quite what's driving the support is a mystery.

Fly to America. Find his house. Burn the fucking thing down.

Leave a sign - "you've destroyed our home, so we've destroyed yours" Then embark on a campaign of terror against him until he hands over the club plus £150m to the fans.

Bit extreme? Maybe I'll stick with the dead cuddly lion and pic of the dentist with Lerner's face on it then...

Its on the Dipshit thread. I suggested that a big toy lion be covered in fake blood and dumped outside the ground with a banner saying slaughtered by Lerner.

What we need is a fans meeting on BBC wm. You know like what the other clubs do. I believe the last one was with Kenny Jacket of the wolves. The one before that was with wba.
We would have to have it on our own as no Fecking member of the villa park elite will attend. We could bring a blood soaked toy lion, fake Learner masks with towels on a bungee rope to throw in again and again.   UTV VTID Scarf Waving Scarf Waving Scarf Waving Scarf Waving Scarf Waving

Protesting isn't going to do any good except cause the media to laugh at Villa fans even more than they already are. They'll interview one ignorant dumbass fan saying some dumb shit and play it over and over and over again.

We here in Detroit protested for over 3 years calling for the Lions General Manager, Matt Millen, to be fired. He held the record for being the worst GM in NFL history and somehow got a contract extension, which made him the 2nd highest paid GM in the NFL. The entire city protested. We picketed the stadium, held marches, chanted "FIRE MILLEN!!!" every game, and even chanted it at basketball, hockey, and college football games. Every radio station in the city was calling for his head and there were regular segments on the "Fire Millen" movement on local news and ESPN. Keep in mind, this was before social media, and it was still talked about every week by the whole city. Even people who didn't watch Football, knew about what was going on. It didn't do a thing. It took 3 years for Millen to get the sack and all the while, football fans around the country laughed at us every week, instead of just whenever their local teams beat us.

People are laughing at our club every week already because of what Lerner has done to us. We are a massive club who has been top flight for over a quarter of a century that now is bottom of the premier league largely because of the incompetence of one guy. Not saying a protest will immediately see Lerner disappear or stop being a crap owner but I think it will allow people to vent. Right now Im thinking that nothing is going to happen until relegation is confirmed and then a bottle of bile will be uncorked. We need to get some of this out now.

This Millen guy sounds like an American Paul Lambert.

Imagine Duncan Ferguson as our Director of Football/CEO, who only signed Martin O'Neal type bombs (Heskey, Davies, Baye, Reo Coker, Shorey, etc) on mega wages for 8 season straight, then appointed a progressively shitty string of managers along the likes of Lambert, Warnock, Megson, then Steve Kean to break all kinds of records you don't want associated with your club.  If there was relegation in American Football, the Lions would have dropped down to League 2 or Conference level football under his leadership.

The people at the top must be delusional. For the last 4 - 5 years we have been in free fall. So  What's been done. Sack the manager do not invest in the team, cut the wages with incoming lower divisional players, hope we might win a game or two to try to cling onto premiers status.
This season the sky money will flood in so what do we do. Get in players from lower leagues, get rid of players like Tekkers and the snake, cleverly etc..
The mismanagement of this great club I love is epic.  If it weren't so  serious we would be making films on how NOT to manage a football club. So do we protest, what's the point the top "management"  would not  have a clue what we are talking about. Its so frustrating watching my club head towards the championship    bit by bit due to the inaction of an absent owner, people at the top who have not a clue about football picking teams and getting "CHEAP" player from France.

Like the idea of the bloodied lion with a sign saying slaughtered by Lerner, although there is no chance of getting this inside the ground.

Inside ground demo would be the white handkerchiefs one which is used abroad all the time especially in Spain and Italy.

Heard about a protest for the palace game

Plan of action is to meet at the McGregor statue at 19:00 on the night of the Palace game and walk the short distance to the North Stand where we demonstrate against these clowns until 20:00. Yes, that would mean we miss the first 15 minutes of the game but some empty seats will also send a message. At full time we gather again outside the North Stand with our banners and flags to voice disapproval at the powers that be. FOX OUT. LERNER OUT.

Some will say that this will not achieve anything but what protest will. Protests against wars or government policy never get results but they register disapproval against whats being done and attract many people. If anyone on here wants to encourage protest against the shameful way at which our club has been destroyed then they have to circulate this plan of action for the night of the Palace game.

My son told me that twitter was alive with the end of season protest that on the last game of the season everyone dresses as clowns with reference to those who currently 'Run' the club, I think its a great idea.

Protests do work imo - Billionaires are very vein and Randy wont like to much press coverage making him look a fool - I am therefore in support of any protests...

There is also an online petion at change org - I can't link to it from work but it might be worth someone posting the link here - maybe in a new thread...

Hold on its going to be a bumpy ride...

I've been saying for years that Lerner has got away with any abuse over how he's run the club and all because he doesn't attend the matches, we'll surely Tom Fox goes to the games and he certainly deserves it as much as Lerner, just think back to that midweek home defeat by Bolton a few years ago and the vile abuse McLeish got, Fox and Lerner need that every single game from now on.
