Ideally, i would of liked to of played Veretout, but in a game like this you cant afford to play a player who hasn't played for a while and wont be up to the speed of the game.

Ayew could potentially play wide left as well. He's been playing a lot at the right for us, and done very well, but he's ability to drag in and let a shot off is pretty tasty.

Agreed, the goal he scored for his country the other week was in off the left and hitting a rasping right foot.

Given the players we have and how influential Gils vision and passing is, i might even be tempted to go with a 4-1-3-2 to try and make Gil more involved

Both Ayew and Sinclair are capable of running the wider areas when required, just a shame they probably both prefer coming in off the left!

Either as a 442 or a 4231 and perhaps even Adama in place of Grealish but Gil and Ayew will be key for us this season now. Build a team around them

After calling for Lescott to be canned and Clark brought in, he made an absolute cock of himself. 

So for me it's the same as Dan's team although I'd like to see what Ilori is all about.

If the diamond is getting spanked then take off Gil, whack Traore on out wide, Ayew or Sinclair the other side and go with pace out wide. The one thing which let's Gil down is his lack of straight line pace

Gardner might well have been the next greatest thing but considering he's played about 3 minutes in football in his entire senior career then it's time to let him go. 

Sell him off with a buy-back option like Barca have with Traore. Let him take the toll on someone else's physio bill and put the money toward a striker.

Gardner isn't injured again. He played 85 minutes Monday against Newcastle. That quote is from pre-season so site is out of date

Not true. It's fully updated. Says Gardner is back 21st Nov 15. Westwood is there as well.

For all I know it might be the match you refer to that Gardner got injured in.
