QPR v Aston Villa.
We go again! We're playing the current worst team in the Premiership, we're playing away with Lambert's one "tactic" (low possession and pounce on opposition mistakes). Who's confident?
Will we change the way we play?
Will we have more than a couple of shots on target?
Will we see this really good side that Lambert reckons we've got?
Will Okores play?
Will Grealish get on the pitch?
What do you think guys?

1. (Who's confident?) Not me.
2. (Will we change the way we play?) Hahahahahaha!
3. (Will we have more than a couple of shots on target?) Doubtful.
4. (Will we see this really good side that Lambert reckons we've got?) That side only comes out for half a game every 15. Is it game 15 yet?
5. (Will Okore play?) Not if Clark is fit.
6. (Will Grealish get on the pitch?) Yes...Notts County's.
7. (What do you think guys?) Loss. We go again.

That should be the most likely result. I'm still not confident though.NARLA24 wrote:Being ridiculously optimistic here............Draw.

We must not lose to one of the worst teams in the Premiership.

1 No confidence I the side, moral is all time low.
2 We only play one way,no other tactics.
3 might but they will be outside of the box.
4 Lambert has his favourites, so no.
5 As above, buys players but never plays them.
6 Has he moved on, only talent we have willing to have a go.
7 Hope we have a go at them, but the way QPR played last week best we can get is a draw.

Re: QPR v Aston Villa.
I can't disagree with any of your points except maybe number 3. Our players just don't seem willing to shoot from outside the box. This ties in with your first point .... confidence is very low.Army villain wrote:1 No confidence I the side, moral is all time low.

A draw would be a good result at the moment but an unlikely outcome IMHO. My money (literally) is on a narrow QPR home win.

One thing I hope we change on Monday night is our reputation for being an easy three points for opposition teams that are on a really bad run.

Yep. It's nothing short of a fucking disgusting, shameful, embarrassing, complete and utter disgrace that we're so pathetic now that QPR will be looking at us thinking, "Jesus, surely we won't lose to Villa, that would be a new low"
There are no words for how much that depresses, horrifies and angers me. Them words don't cut it!

Re: QPR v Aston Villa.
I've got zero confidence in anything but QPR showing us up. Harry will be onto them about how weak we are right now. They will prove to anyone left crowing about how well we started the season that it was on luck. I don't expect us to play a new style, I don't expect any impact from any decision Lambert makes either before the game or during it. We may have one shot on target and maybe it'll be a goal but we'll have nothing else on them for the 90mins. Who plays? The same old shite in the same old fucking way. I predict a QPR win, with them getting 2 against us.
And what a dismal feeling it is writing that. I'd love to believe that even some of that won't be true, but the boys have got to step up and prove themselves. Silence the critics, relight the fire.
Up the Villa.

Re: QPR v Aston Villa.
What a sad state of affairs, how utterly depressing most of us think we will lose to the bottom side. I fucking hate Lerner and Lambert for what they have reduced this club to. I can't really see us taking the game to QPR, just trying to stifle them and nicking a goal, which I don't think will be enough. The sooner Lambert goes the better same goes for Randy. What happened to our summer of hope, it's truly down the pan now.

Re: QPR v Aston Villa.
Lambert says that he wants his players to be free to express themselves. Monday night might give us an indication of what he actually means.
I take it to mean that he hasn't allowed players to go for it against good opposition in case we got hammered. It will be interesting to see if there's a visible difference against QPR.
Something has to change. You need the ball if you're going to express yourself, that would be different for a start. Will the worst team in the Premiership have more possession than Lambert's really good side?
All will be revealed Monday night.

Lambert will need an excuse and that will be it; that he gave the players licence to express themselves and they got carried away. i.e. not HIS fault.

That statistic about Burnley and QPRs goal scoring record doing the rounds at the moment, points to only one thing. They will both beat us. Easy money. Get to the bookies.
