A part of my brain is still very optimistic says we'll be up two nil after 10 minutes and we'll all be pleasantly surprised.

That part was obviously deprived of oxygen at some stage in childhood as the most likely scenario is that Stoke are going to bend us right over.

They really are hyper sensitive to any criticism, aren't they. First the General gets sent in to convey Randy's message and put out any flames whilst the club actively curries favour with various interest groups. Howard got turfed out of the executive box for voicing his concerns. Now this?

You could put a good argument forward that Faulkner was a victim of it too if he confronted Randy with the way things were being run.

Question is, has this come from the very top or is the head of marketing acting alone? Maybe he got sick and tired of seeing so many negative comments on the clubs official Facebook page and various supporters groups as well as twitter and lost his shit?

I think we need to track down that lad who did the "factory of sadness" video on the Browns and find out if he was ever see again.

It amazes me that Villa club officials can be so petty and out of touch. If Villa Park was burning down, they would probably hold a meeting about it, setting out a code of conduct for fire fighters on AVFC premises, before phoning the fire brigade.
