great coaches probably in the lower leagues but deffinately out of their depths in the Prem.

Its a pet hate of mine how managers are loyal to their buddies when it come to coaching staff. In a way I admired Peace at The Boggies for saying he would appoint the coaches that he thought were the best for he job

Same as purple nose at Man Utd. When his coaching side had run out of ideas, he moved them on for someone fresher.

The only thing he stuck with down the years were his referees.

Agreed. In such a professional sport with so much money floating around it is incredible that so many clubs are prepared to tolerate such an overt 'jobs for the boys' approach.

Kozak is probably genuine given that what happened to him was described elsewhere as "Imagine the worst thing, then double it".

But Gabby and Delph missing a couple of games back (?)
Vlaar is now know to have had issues at the training ground and he's been missing a lot (?)

EDIT: Sorry, didn't see chat of this in another thread. Talked to Daniel Taylor a lot in the past - he's a top top bloke - but can't bring myself to ask him about this. Probably not allowed to anyway.

Villa’s human resources department has received several complaints from players and members of staff regarding a number of incidents over the past 12 months.
There was also an alleged confrontation between Culverhouse and Lambert in the dressing room before and after the game against Crystal Palace earlier this month which left the Villa manager shaken.
Lambert fully approved the suspensions and in another development Culverhouse and Karsa have been accused of previous misconduct at Colchester, where they worked in 2008-09.
Michael Rafter, a former Colchester midfielder now playing for Cork City, tweeted: “Not surprised to hear whats going on at villa, happened in colchester too #gangsters”
Culverhouse, previously Lambert’s assistant manager, and the former head of football operations Karsa are due to attend a disciplinary hearing next week.
Lambert replaced the pair by promoting goalkeeper Shay Given and the club's legendary midfielder Gordon Cowans to first-team duties.

Quite a few have said this, with VT even putting a picture up supposedly showing his hairy hands.
They had said for a long time that things were being leaked, with the culprit liable to dismissal. What a bastard he is, if it is him. Unfit to work in football again.

To be fair the Colchester stuff could just be one or two disgruntled players from that time using this as an advantage to have a go at them, won't know unless some real details come out.

Bottom line is Lambert insisted he had them here and they have been here for over 70 prem games. They work under Lambert.. He is their boss and its therefore his responsibility.. It's a ridiculous notion that he should not be held accountable for their behaviour especially as it now appears they have been like this at other clubs. A good journalist I know says Lambert is the biggest bully of them all.. Sid running it now anyway with change in routines to the build up of the game on Sat (Stayed in Hotel the night before, coach brought them to Villa Park, none of which Lambert has ever done or wanted) so it does beg the question why Lambert is still there? Can only be because Lerner doesn't want to pay him off as in my mind his position is untenable.. Probably waiting for the new owner to wave him goodbye..

It's no surprise that Culverhouse is crooked (allegedly), but what role does Lambert play here, he must had had an inkling about what was going on.
