Yep, we ground that one out but tbf QPR have had some form lately.

I've been doing some 'Statto Time' and I'm pretty sure that we haven't bettered 21 points from a possible 24 since 1981 when, between the 10th of January and the 7th of March, we won 8 games straight.

I know this is the Championship but it's some going all the same.

Even under BFR in 92-93 and Gregory in 98-99, we never quite managed this feat.

Just keep those 3 point results coming! I am convinced that the teams above us have games ahead where they'll drop points/lose.

We've just won 4 games on the bounce. I can't believe I'm writing that.

With the amount of teams sitting above us in the table, you would think that we'd have to win all six of our remaining games to make the playoffs.

That would get us to 75 points.

Our best winning streak in the history of this great club is 9 wins on the spin, achieved in 1897, and equalled in 1910.

This means that we would have to break a record of 107 years standing, in order to make the playoffs.

It would also make it 13 wins out of 14, or 39 points from 42.

I know we're not in the Premier League but, McGrath that would be amazing.

Whilst it's all in the realms of possibility, we may as well keep the faith.

9 points off now with 6 to play. Still a very tall order indeed tbh and we have some tough fixtures in with that too with Reading, Brighton and a hate fest thrown in for good measure... all at home!.

Away it's Burton, a crucial must win at Fulham and Blackburn which'll be tough also. A long way to go but lets see where we are after another few games.
