Lansbury- out of contract in the summer so a cheeky bid January would work?
Cattermole- Could do a job and he knows/likes Bruce?
McCarthy from Everton? (Loan)
Besic from Everton?
Mutch at Palace is not getting a lot of game time?
Delph??????????? Washes mouth out with water!!!!
Carroll from Spuds? (Loan)
Ben Watson from Watford?
Morrison from the boggies?
Oxford from Wet Spam (Loan)

Would like kirk trippier, robby brady and henri lansbury.

Im not expecting any marquee signings from Bruce in jan. Another workmanlike midfielder - and maybe another CB.
I did think a goalie - but Gollini really seems to have stepped up to the plate in the last few games..

I think we'd be more likely to bolster midfield with someone from Hull - Meyler, Huddlestone, Snodgrass etc

Yeah we'll probably still do ok without Ayew, Adomah and Kodjia.  
Lansbury at Forest coming to the end of his contract. Would be a decent buy for us in January along with Rhodes.

Bruce is more likely to go with a tried and trusted midfielder like a Catermole or Huddlestone IMO

Welcome back @Morpheus. Have the neighbourhood issues settled down?

I also sincerely hope we don't go for a Cattermole or Huddlestone, unless it's purely a loan to seasons end. We need to be careful not to end up with teams worth of championship level players that are proven to struggle, at best, in the premier league. Should we manage to get promoted this season we don't want to start again in the premier league with something resembling a bomb squad again. We probably should be looking at one or two loans for out of favour players at top prem clubs such as Man Utd, Arsenal etc. These are players that could be enticed on loan with a view to a permanent move after hearing Xia's plans for the club upon promotion. Remember there is no summer tournament to play for this season, so players will be more prepared to play out of the top league. My view is we have to have an eye on players that have proven premiership abilities and would sign permanent for us should we become a premiership club again in a few months.

Update; Its now being reported that Sakho at Liverpool will be leaving one way or another in January. No good reason why we shouldn't try for this type of player on loan in January, given that both player and club now want away. Generally speaking the top clubs don't sell to each other whilst closely competing.

I hope we go for Helder Costa at wolves, the lad tore us a new one, and was by far the best player on the pitch, seemed to be great out wide, and didnt hesitate putting ball in to box, which is our biggest problem, were way to slow or not good enough to put the ball where the strikers want it.

I'm personally a bit sick and tired of having too many changes in the playing staff every window. What you do you guys think is a must this window? Is it relevant what league position we are at?

Well I think it's absolutely vital that we strengthen in midfield. We do that then we're gonna be very tough to face in the second half of the season imo. Also need another centre-back, winger and maybe another right-back. Wouldn't mind loaning a keeper too just to cover the bases.

I see at least four new faces coming in, some might be signings but probably a few loans aswell.

I'd be happy with a CM and maybe a RB.

I wonder if there will be any exits? Westwood? Steer? Richards? Kozak? I can see one or two heading out from this group for sure.

Westwood has to be replaced. Ideally we sell him, but who the hell will pay us money for him.

The match yesterday was fucking horrific. I've never seen a grown "man" get outmuscled by everyone on such a regular basis. He has absolutely nothing to do in midfield on this level.

I've been fairly patient with him as he's always had bags of energy and been 100% professional, but the man has to go. Arguably our worst player atm. with Hutton and that says something.

I did think when Bruce arrived he would get more out of the existing players - which of course he has - but we still look woefully short in all areas except defence - I am really unsure about the following players

Ayew
Grealish
Mccormack
Westwood

Bruce has the defence sorted - but our attacking threat is still sporadic at best.
