Apparantly four clubs are after McNair. Amongst them Newcastle and Sunderland

Neil Moxley claims his source has said "Gabby going nowhere"...I guess we'll have to wait and see but something tells me Gabby may have been trolling.

Looks like the 4 year deal is confirmed at £ 4,5 million.

Gabby MIGHT be able to do a job in this league IF his attitude was right and his heart was in it.

Hutton, Cissokho, Westwood, Gardner, Gestede and Bacuna needs replacing. They are all fucking awful. Not even remotely close to being the standard we need.

The idiots that claimed Gardner was the second coming, christ you look pretty fucking stupid. Amongst the worst midfielders I've seen for this club ever. Michael fucking Standing looked better.

Doubt I've said that, but he wasn't exactly a shining beacon of central midfielding he either.

I do wonder if Gardner has done well with other teams because the pressure is off but when he's at Villa he feels the extra weight on his shoulders and doesn't play with the same freedom or chill.

Either way, he'd best sharpen up quick. I've yet to see even a hint of what some people rave about.

I think it's two folded. One he isn't very good. Two he is better suited for a 3 man midfield or playing with a more defined anchor. Despite the fact tjat Gardner is utter shite, Westwood did him no favours.

He had to play next to Westwood, so that would make a big difference...

put someone decent next to him and i think he would have a chance to show what he can do.

I'm not convinced re: Gardner either. Westwood will get better. I like Cissokho. Can't understand why we still have bumbling Baker the head-injury king, and I've never quite trusted Bennett to be honest.

Feel a BIT sorry for Coventry getting Flabby but they did give us Ray Graydon who I was secretly besotted with so wouldn't wish them major troubles.

Westwood has had how many years to get better? Yet he is still the same lightweight, sideways passing anonymous midfielder he has always been he doesn't have the engine or movement of Gana or the passing ability of Delph! He is a bench warmer at best!

Gardner? Well he was disappointing yesterday! I thought he was a good passing long ranger shooter but he did neither? Maybe playing with Westwood and Bacuna held him back.

We need a bit of pace in our midfield!

We need to replace Gana's energy and tackling/interceptions and I don't know who that is? Maybe Jedinak?

I would love us to try for Trippier at Spurs as he was great for Burnley in this league and has a great cross on him and is solid defensively but maybe that is wishful thinking even though he is behind Walker at Spurs?

LB I am sure will be sorted once Amavi is fit.

CB's we need a quicker defender to compliment the captain as Baker is a younger more injury prone version. Maybe Okore could fill that role?

Flabby to Coventry considering he earns more than the whole of their squad put together I cannot see it!
